Wow!... this isn't lightning... it's the great Titan Cronus himself rising from the ocean.
Introducing the Queen of the Arachnodisco ... Chrysilla Volupe.
No, you’re not hallucinating! Meet the chrysilla volupe, arguably the most colourful spider in the world. This particular species of jumping spider can be found across India and Sri Lanka but the jumping spider family contains over 6,000 different species!
That does look like a being.
The most amazing waterspout picture I’ve ever seen. A woman took this pic in her back yard in Tampa.
Lenticular clouds on Torres del Paine, Chilean Patagonia
Photo: Michael Fung ... possibly the best 'cloud picture' i've ever seen.
Taken at Tauranga New Zealand ... and I wouldn't be surprised if it made it's way on to the UFO pics section on some sites!
Amazingly this is An ant’s face seen through an electron microscope. ... doesn't get any prettier does it?... ps. it looks very much like a baby pigeon's head to me.
Zebrafish Larvae ... are a bit cuter than the Ant's Face eh!
Echidna. Echidna's have spines like a porcupine a pouch like a kangaroo and lays eggs like a reptile. They also have a long sticky tongue for eating their favourite food , ants .
Rare Albino Buck Spotted in Wisconsin
BOULDER JUNCTION, Wis. - It's not the first time Tracy Weese has seen this albino buck. Weese, who said she had seen the buck before, took this picture Sunday of the animal in her backyard in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin.
"His Majesty just strolled through our backyard ??," she wrote on her Facebook page.
She wants him to get the credit he deserves. She said he is an albino, and not a piebald. A piebald or pied animal is one that has a pattern of unpigmented spots on a pigmented background of hair, feathers or scales.
Weese said albino bucks look different when in rut. The brown stain on his hind leg is his tarsal gland that releases his scent. According to Weese, the buck had a brown/blood stained head and antlers because he rubbed his white velvet off on trees.
It is illegal to shoot albino deer in Wisconsin.
Let me help you!
The interaction only lasted a few minutes, but it was certainly memorable. An orangutan reached out its hand to a man who was standing in a snake-infested river, as if to rescue him. The man was a conservancy warden with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation and this orangutan came out of the forest to lend a hand. And what's really remarkable, is that we are destroying their habitat at a record pace, yet still... this orangutan offered a helping hand to the human. They really are amazing creatures!
