Hey all. New here. I always come and check out your guys comments.
Anyways,
So one thing I noticed when I listened to this guy in an interview was that he says he did NOT visually see the object yet He is the one who coined the object a "Tic-Tac"
I find this odd considering the only visual reference for the object is the video footage which is quite grainy to say the least.
Cheers

I believe what the pilots have said, and generally with what the systems operators have said once the '15 minutes of fame' they seem to be experiencing is factored in. It's easy to lose track of the details.

He also dismissed the possibility that the UFO was part of covert tests done by NASA or the military. He told New York magazine that he was never instructed to keep silent about what he saw. "I've got top-secret clearance with a ton of special-project clearances," he said. "So, it's not like I wasn't cleared to know. Clearly, whatever it was, if it was a government project, I did not need to know."

A curious lack of reaction from the strike group, they never armed their aircraft, recalled them, called for land based assets to assist, beat feet and got the hell out of there. Nope. Just business as usual despite all that.

True that the objects didn't appear to be threatening and that the jet aircraft couldn't even begin to engage them. Actually arming the interceptors might not have seemed the best idea at the time. If they were going to arm their jets in the middle of an exercise in a training area that would very likely require some detailed explanation and would have certainly changed the whole tone of the incident. There had to have been some discussion, some reaction at the command level.

If they knew it was a test of a new system and wanted to gauge their pilot's reactions that might explain it. But since even mentioning aliens is anathema in the military how likely is it they just said 'That couldn't possibly Russian or Chinese gadget because it's doing things aircraft can't. No, it has to be ET and therefore we can't do anything about it so we won't. Anybody know what the movie is tonight? ' and then just sailed on as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening?

You would think that complacence isn't the first club out of the bag for a friggin' aircraft carrier strike group.

Yeah he could have came up with "Tic-Tac" back on the ship , perhaps discussing the incident with the other pilots and hearing their description of what they saw.

We've heard of egg shaped or elongated or cigar shape as description terms for UFO's . I'm trying to find the earliest interview with Fravor using the term Tic-Tac. I'm not saying these guys are lying, I'm just keeping all options on the table.

I messed up my post somehow lol. I think I hit the quote button so I'm reposting my response.

I Think the Rabit hole you are looking to Jump down is The ATTIP program, In this link, "Which I can't confirm any sources to, Luis “Lue” Elizondo, the former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, Speaks about (ATTIP), https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...s-so-about-those-area-51-conspiracy-theories/

In this link, There is a long sprawling document mentioning The pentagons TicTac, AATIP, Tic-Tacs and more - A reality check

2018-09-23-02-36-16_adj1.jpg

This Thing, Is supposedly a TicTac, An ariel blimp used during military flight exercises to calibrate and coordinate cameras and tracking equipment.

I haven't fully read this last paper, But the General indication is, The Term Tic Tac, Is a fairly common descriptor among pilots because of the ATTIP program and their own "Tictac" Which From the gist, I gather Is a Blimp For training exercises. After Reading these links, Well, Skimming them rather, I gather, He used the Term Tictac Because it's a common term of a shape often seen during training exercises... I hope this helps.

You make a good point here, but if this is the case I'm thinking of, The Video was released as an unclassified document because of Wikileaks, That whole Government Hack that Edward Snowden did. If this is that case, He was more or less exposed And never intended to come out.

I don't think Snowden or Wikileaks had anything to do with it. All I've heard him say was that he went snooping for UFO stuff and didn't find any.

The tic-tac video was out not long after the 2004 incident and died a death of being unnoticed in obscurity. The gofast and gimbal were much more recent - 2015. Maybe taken on the same date. All three came out as part of the Dec 2017 'Black Budgets and Glowing Auras' article and TTSA. Exactly what chain of events took place with those videos before we got to see them is still largely unknown as is exactly what AATIP was and the relationship Luis Elizondo had with it.

This is a Jan 2 2019 interview with Cmdr.David Fravor and he uses the term tic-tac in it.

035 – UFOs – The Fighter Pilot Podcast

I found this podcast because of this specific episode and have subscribed to it. In this case you have two highly experienced fighter pilots, one of which with as much experience operating off Navy flight decks as Fravor talking it over. Interesting interview.

Reason I mention the background of the interviewer is that I think it's important. Without an ear bent to militaryspeke it's easy to come away with the wrong impression, or at least maybe not the one the interviewee intended. Listening to the rest of the episodes in the podcast frames the whole thing - gives you an idea of what pilot's concerns are, how they react to various things, how things work in the real world not movies, etc. Nah - I believe what the pilots have said.

The two big camps of 'secret human tech' vs 'alien tech' have formed and are throwing nightsoil back and forth at one another. Much shrieking, speaking in tongues, hair pulling, statements of what is and isn't impossible and occasionally some complicated math to prove that the people doing the complicated math know how to do the complicated math. That just means UFOlogy as a whole is operating normally.
