UIJEONGBU — Corporal Maxwell Klinger has finally been discharged from the Army after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Trump administration's ban on trans military members.

Klinger, stationed in Korea with the 4077th MASH unit, expressed relief that the day he had been looking forward to his whole life had finally arrived, and he could finally get out of the Army and get back home to Toledo, Ohio.

"Persistence really does pay off," Klinger said while wearing a frilly pink dress. "Everyone told me to give up years ago, but I knew if I stuck with it, I could get out of this place. On the bright side, I've managed to build up a really impressive wardrobe after all this time."

Other members of the 4077th said Klinger's consistency seemed to have an effect on the rest of the unit. "He's definitely not the only one here wearing dresses these days," said friend and colleague Corporal Walter "Radar" O'Reilly. "I don't know if it's other people being inspired or what, but there sure are a lot more fellahs dressing like ladies around here now. We all always thought he had a screw loose, but in hindsight, he turned out to be a real trendsetter. I'll be sad to see him go."

At publishing time, Klinger was reportedly hoping to follow in the footsteps of another prominent cross-dressing American serviceman and someday serve as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health.

Pluto, humanity’s favorite dwarf planet, is getting some high-profile allies.
“Star Trek” actor William Shatner wants to use Elon Musk’s political sway to get Pluto reinstated as a full-fledged planet.

“We should ask Elon to get the President to sign one of those Executive thingies to make Pluto a planet again,” Shatner posted on X, the social media platform owned by Musk, a financial backer and close ally of President Donald Trump.

Musk responded: “I’d support that.”

The power of the president’s executive orders is the subject of much debate. One thing is clear, however: Pluto’s status is not determined by the president. The International Astronomical Union, which reclassified Pluto as a dwarf planet in 2006, is the arbiter of such classifications.

I think she misspoke when she said it was owned by the US Navy. Apparently it suffered some sort of power failure and was out of control. In other videos I saw a harbor tug racing toward it but obviously didn't make it. The Brooklyn Bridge was unaffected.

There were men in the rigging and I believe the two deaths and multiple injuries were confined to the crew not onlookers.

With an eye to the World Cup, Trump signs executive order on drone risks

President Trump waves as he departs the White House on June 6, 2025.

President Trump on Friday signed an executive order aimed at reducing the national security and public safety threats posed by drones in the United States.

Trump is ordering a task force to ensure enough is being done to detect and identify drones, and to crack down on unlawful uses like spying and drug smuggling. It's a priority given the upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026 and the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.

"With large-scale public events such as the Olympics and the World Cup on the horizon, taking action on airspace security has never been timelier," Michael Kratsios, the head of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, told reporters.

The risks have been underscored by Russia's drone strikes in Ukraine, and Ukraine's surprise drone strikes that destroyed some aircraft deep within Russia, said Sebastian Gorka, the senior director of counterterrorism at the White House National Security Council.

"The timing couldn't even be better than it is today, given what we witnessed with the remarkable drone operation that occurred just a few days ago in Russia," Gorka told reporters.

Gorka said the federal response to foreign-made drones — and for protecting U.S. military sites, critical infrastructure and big public events — has fallen short. He said the order would boost the government's counter-drone capabilities, and said that the FBI would begin to train state and local law enforcement to be able to do more to protect against drone threats.

"We will increase the enforcement of current laws to deter two types of individuals: evil doers and idiots," Gorka said.

The order will also seek to boost U.S. development of drones, and commercial use of the technology for deliveries and other purposes.

Trump also signed orders aimed at clearing the way for a new generation of supersonic jets in the United States, and to encourage the development of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft or eVTOLs, sometimes described as air taxis.

"Flying cars are not just for the Jetsons," Kratsios said.

Panic as huge NITRIC ACID spill sparks mass evacuations and grounds all flights within 4,000 miles

A large chemical spill in Ohio has grounded all flights within 4,000 miles and sparked mass evacuations. Thousands of gallons of nitric acid, a hazardous chemical compound that can irritate eyes, throats and lungs, leaked from a tank at Austin Powder Red Diamond plant in McArthur on Wednesday morning.

The company produces industrial explosives used for construction and mining purposes. It is unclear how the leak started. An 'immediate evacuation order' has been announced by the Vinton County Sheriff's Office, specifically for Zaleski - a small village in Ohio.

The panic occurred 185 miles east of the where the 2023 toxic chemical train derailment happened in East Palestine, which completely devastated the town.

On Wednesday, the Federal Aviation Administration has banned nearly all flights from more than 3,700 square miles of airspace near the terrifying spill. 'Only relief flights' are allowed in the no-fly zone.

Dispatchers are currently directing people to evacuate to the Vinton County High School gym.

The massive leak is coming from a storage tank that holds 5,000 gallons of nitric acid, according to Jackson County Emergency Management.

Robert Czechlewski, Jackson County Emergency Management Director, said 3,000 gallons leaked from the tank.

When nitric acid mixes with the air it caused a chemical reaction that produces nitric oxide, which creates and orange, brown gas to release.

British survivor of Air India plane crash gives his shocking account of the disaster: 'Air hostesses died before my eyes... we crashed into the building at full speed. I thought I was going to die

The sole survivor of the deadly Air India plane crash disaster was saved after he was 'ejected'from the jet before it hit the ground and exploded into a huge fireball. Briton Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, miraculously survived the plane disaster, which killed all but one 242 passengers and crew on-board in in the northwestern Indian city of Ahmedabad.

Mr Ramesh, who lives in London with his wife and child, is being treated at a local hospital, where he told doctors that immediately after the plane took off, it began descending and suddenly split in two, ejecting him before there was a loud explosion.
