Cheerleading coaches banned from competition over gag awards

A different high school. My daugher was surprised by this. She told me that she was held to a standard during the time she was in uniform. and something like this is "shameful "

Well...

It is dumb. But gag awards are gag awards.

Universities are turning out humorless people.

Would be curious which parents complained. Oh, now I know.

Kate Trudell is the only parent that complained and appears to be a professional pest, as well as a lawyer. She is probably got the ACLU involved.

She sued the school over leggings and other things. She only has a boy in school and two female toddlers.

I hope her kid gets the silent treatment.

FEC Filings Show Rashida Tlaib Paid Herself $45,500 from Campaign Funds

Democratic Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib dipped into her campaign funds during last year’s election cycle to pay herself $45,500, according to records from the Federal Election Commission.

According to the records, Tlaib began getting $2,000 in roughly two-week intervals beginning in May. FEC records show that this was accounted for as “salary.” The only exception to this during the campaign came in August, when the roughly biweekly payments went up to $3,000.

On Dec. 1, one final “salary” payment of $15,500 was made to the now-freshman legislator.

Two sisters, aged 5 and 8, are found ALIVE 1.4 miles away from their woodland home 44 HOURS after they went missing - and cops say the girls used their survival training skills to stay safe

California police have confirmed that two young sisters who were missing for two days have been found. Eight-year-old Leia Carrico and her five-year-old sister Caroline Carrico (both right) were last seen outside their home in Benbow, north west of Sacramento, on Friday at 2.30pm. Authorities said the sisters vanished after walking off into a wooded area near their home. On Sunday, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office announced that the girls had been found safely after spending about 48 hours in the woods.

Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal said during a press conference that the girls were found 1.4 miles away from their home. Honsal said two firefighters located the little girls who had been following some of their tracks in the search area. The sheriff's office also shared a photo of one of the girls being rescued (left). Dozens of volunteers (inset) came out to help first responders search for the sisters. The sisters were uninjured during the ordeal.

$273M Mega Millions jackpot winner from Alpha says he initially forgot the ticket at the store

While “messing” with his phone, Mike Weirsky misplaced $273 million last Thursday.

When he realized on Friday that he left behind the two Mega Millions tickets he bought at the Quick Chek on New Brunswick Avenue in Pohatcong Township, he returned to the store.

“A Good Samaritan” had found them and the store was holding them in a drawer awaiting Weirsky’s return, he said on a frigid Wednesday morning wearing a Harley Davidson T-shirt and blue jeans on his front porch in the blue-collar community of Alpha.

It was still before the drawing so the tickets were worth what he paid for them -- $2 each.

The 54-year-old 1984 Phillipsburg High School graduate picked them up and didn’t think about them again for a few days, he said.

Friday’s drawing came and went. A ticket with the jackpot winning numbers 29-33-39-60-66 with a Mega Ball of 21 and a multiplier of two was worth $273 million, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The cash-out would be $162,500,000, the lottery added.

It wasn’t until Sunday night in the heart the snowstorm that Weirsky was talking to a friend, who played and lost the Mega Millions. So Weirsky took out his two tickets. The first was a loser, he said. He tossed it in the trash can. He scanned the second on his phone and it came back as the jackpot winner.

The Feds should go after him for making this all in the public spotlight and using valuable resources to investigate this hate crime and I think it is a hate crime he committed no matter his true motivations or drug use...
