I think this association with Dennis Rodman is probably one of the weirdest ever: He's a freak show even by western standards. He is about the last individual that logic says the North Korean's would ingratiate in to their culture. He represented all the supposed evils of capitalist society; starting with his extreme exhibitionist individualism, and so to have him shown with their leaders makes no sense at all, it's not logical because that society is based on the disposable individual where you're job is to be an ant and working for the whole, where the only individual whom really matters is the Great Leader. In terms of maintaining the illusion of a socialist ant like society this association with Rodman is not remotely logical, let alone sensible.

The forbidden hotel speaks volumes about who's been running this world. It isn't sanctions which have changed the attitude of the North Koreans, it's the evident overthrow of a certain power structure, the one that's been at war with Trump. Trump is just the face of the powers backing him. That hotel can only be for one thing, and can only mean that the North Korean State was a playground off limits to prying eyes for the previous ruling parties.

Honestly, in general I feel that Trump is a living parody of manhood: his demeanor and carriage are the antithesis of everything that I value and respect in a man.

But he's clearly vastly less of a war hawk than Hillary Clinton, who never met a war she didn't like. So it's moments like this that make me downright grateful that she didn't win. On domestic policy, he's a living freakin' nightmare. But less people will die under Trump than Clinton, and that's the most important thing, imo. If she'd won, she would've implemented a no-fly zone in Syria (which would've steered us toward WWIII with Russia), and we'd be looking at military escalation with N. Korea, instead of seeing the most promising step toward peace with them that we've ever witnessed.

The shadow

The shadow knows!
I am no fan of Trump. I often feel he is unfit for the office he holds.
Then comes this. The greatest step to peace in our time.
If it is true and lasting then Donald Trump will go down in history as the man who brought peace to korea.
And if this leads to unification.
The end of human rights abuses.
The end of suffering. Then Trump will have won his place as a great peacemaker.

Trump stuns region with post-summit call to end military drills on Korean peninsula.

President Trump, as part of the historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, reversed longstanding U.S. policy by calling for an end to military drills on the Korean Peninsula and saying he wants to bring U.S. troops home from the region – the president’s latest convention-defying move on the international stage in less than a week.

"We will be stopping the war games, which will save us a tremendous amount of money unless and until we see the future negotiation is not going along like it should," Trump said after his meeting with Kim. "But we'll be saving a tremendous amount of money. Plus, I think it's very provocative."

Most of the main stream far left leaning media are doing all they can to belittle this Historic Day, which it rightfully is...They are so fearful he will succeed but do not realize he has already succeeded, this agreement with North Korea is icing on the cake...The American economy is alive and in motion, unemployment at its lowest in decades, consumer confidence is higher than it has in decades, we have defeated ISIS, and more and more all due to President Trump's decisions and policies, no one else has a piece of those pies of achievement...

Now we have a disarmament and peace agreement, and the road is open to a unified Korea...This Historic Agreement will be followed through by North Korea, they have everything to gain and both China and Japan want this to happen, with China the biggest influence on NK...Let Kim have his country, we do not need to nation build again, NK will get benefits not just from the American government but also from China for following through...

I have no problem with American pulling out of South Korea completely, let the North and South reunify and forge their own path, the US does not need to be there, the last of the cold war is beginning to finally go into the history books...Let Russia or China take the nukes from NK and let the reunification of Korea begin, and our American military personnel in South Korea come back home to America...

It's suspected Kim speaks at least a little English. He's probably spoken in English to Dennis.
