The shadow knows!
In 1984 I went to a concert at the Dane County Coliseum - Tina Turner’s 1984 tour, with my Dad. It is the only concert we ever went to together.

Dad said to me “you can’t know what it is to be a man unless you see Tina dance on stage. It will change you for all time”

He was right. The music and the memories last on, but the singer has passed.

RIP Tina Turner. You were amazing.

Simply the best,
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone.

Thank you for all the years of entertainment and empowerment you provided us.

RIP, Ms. Turner

83 years old? Wow, I would have figured she was about 10 years younger. The In Living Color skit on Ike Turner was friggin' hilarious.

He was a real character, I loved that twisted moustache and pointy toed boots. Didn't he turn Sgt. Slaughter heel during Desert Storm?

... I have known Treat [acting-wise] since I was a lad, and would have said that he was no more than just one of those mid-casting-character-actors if it were'nt for his portrayal of D.B Cooper in the eponymously titled film from about 40 years ago that he starred in along-side of the great Robert Duvall.... he was memorable enough to be on this list for that movie alone, imo... and what a way to bow-out at 71 yrs-old. R.I.P Treat.

A true titan of the comics industry is gone. John Romita, Sr.— whose artwork defined Spider-Man for a generation, and whose name is arguably just as synonymous with the Marvel icon as Stan Lee or Steve Ditko — has passed at the age of 93. RIP to a legend.
