Fading day by day.
I have never heard an alien speak, but the way that is written, the words and phrases used, feels awfully earthly.
One minute words are left out to make it sound different, the next thing it sounds like an earth persons phrases.
And any superior Alien culture would know all about us, and why we throw rubbish into our ocean. I suspect any Alien culture coming here would be for more superior than that. I suspect we would end up like per-schoolers getting chastised.

I agree the goals as written are earthly goals.....o_O. They'd come here to save the planet.....likely from us.

I think any Alien advanced culture out there would not give a razz about what we are doing actually. This one as with many many other supposed Alien contacts . addresses, pontifications is plainly bull and bunkum.

Some life forms would likely look upon humanity as a parasitic lifeform like we look at an ant colony.....and if we are damaging something rare perhaps they'd just wipe us out like we eradicate an ant colony in a house.

As it stands I don't think it humanity would have any interest in us until we are far more advanced...then they could help us along taking baby steps. This is of course they are visiting earth because of humanity......if they are in the first place.

This is what worries me. We often judge each other here on earth by our own standards. But just look how different we all are within our own species. We have folks from the Dalai Llama to Hitler. Often we make assumptions that an advanced civilization would naturally be benevolent and wise. But really there is no reason for them to be at all.
Most of us walk around and trod on ants and bugs without thought.
If they see us the same, well we are in deep shit if they ever come here.

Yes it is scary......but then they can still be benevolent and still come to save the earth from us. I know a couple people who work in the pest control business and both are very good people.

Either way it's still a lot of effort from an outside species, to come here and either save us from ourselves or exterminate us...Perhaps it's easier for them to play along and wait until we wipe ourselves out...

I agree....there are far to many close-minded people that believe everything they see on their media. Its far better to keep an open mind and answer your own questions with your own independent thought.
