Anyone know if any individual eyewitness reports have surfaced? I would think someone got a good look at whatever it was, given this was a populated area along the coast.

I want to see a remake of the battle of Los Angeles. The production values in the original film were very poor. You can't even see what they were shooting at.

The thing is a lot of people saw a lot of different things......the number or type of aircraft, altitude and speed varied greatly across the numerous reports. One other thing this is misunderstood is that 1,440 rounds is a lot of rounds.......considering the potential rate of fire it is actually sporadic and at a low rate.

They must have shot it down quickly then or it took off fast and escaped...

None of the objects moved quickly according to any report and they'd have been lucky to hit it with that few rounds.

A few rounds may have been effective enough...

As I posted earlier with better equipment, experienced gunners and higher rates of fire they still needed a just 50% rounds to down one aircraft later in the war. The few guns that did fire those few rounds were likely to spread out to get that lucky.

Where can we read this Great Secret?
If you can figure this secret out then its probably the only way possible that I would believe in aliens with ships from outer space..until then,i guess it will continue to be a secret.

The secret is within in your mainframe..within your database.

There was an extensive thread on the topic at AU....and there were first hand accounts from the time included.

I'd like to see them again and find a few more........new witnesses coming forward now are pretty much useless.

That's the biggest problem in Ufology for the older classic cases. Most witnesses are dead, and the events of the time are not exactly fresh in the mind for the few that that remain. It seems that primary documents from the time and secondary sources written thereafter are about the only material we have to work with.

I remember seeing an exercise that showed memories are considerably degraded after a month......so the "witness" who was 8 at that time is not very helpful.

I'd just like to see people try and find more info than just rehashing the same claims filled with data gaps. Like those who think 1,440 rounds is a lot.....lol.
