Pentagon confirms Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick to head expanded UAP office

A Pentagon press release today (July 20, 2022) formally announced that Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Ronald S. Moultrie has "named Dr. Sean M. Kirkpatrick, most recently the chief scientist at the Defense Intelligence Agency's Missile and Space Intelligence Center, as the director of [Pentagon UAP office]."

More than two months ago (May 12, 2022), I was the first to report on Dr. Kirkpatrick's selection to head the Pentagon UAP office, on which Congress had conferred broad duties and powers by enactment of its groundbreaking UAP law (Gillibrand-Rubio-Gallego) in December, 2021. I trusted my sources, although the Pentagon declined to formally confirm Kirkpatrick's selection until today; they now say he was asked to take the job "in early 2022."
