She'll be OK it's not cancer Thank God !
This has yet to be confirmed by the radiologist but the vet said what they saw last time wasn't there this time and that it was some imaging artifact. She didn't even need to be sedated and they were very surprised she submitted to being manipulated so easily.
Every morning when I wake up and come out into the living room she'll plop down and want a belly rub. I give her 'the hood ornament' or 'the frog legs'. You can visualize that. She's used to that sort of thing
The radiologist and surgeon will both see these new images and once the 'no cancer' diagnosis is confirmed we'll get the knee fixed right away. When I take her out I slip a piece of an old sheet about the size of a towel under her belly and just hold it in my hand and take some of the weight of her rear legs. That'll be part of the therapy in recovery from the surgery.
Meanwhile, we got Moon Pusses. Poor Lou has only one canine remaining - I think his upper left. LouFang. They both had a couple of teeth pulled, a good cleaning and a nail cutting and at the moment slinking around all moony and out of it from the anesthesia.
This has been a
long day. But, being home nervous meant I really demolished my to-do list while waiting.
