No time for gym today. Time for bed already...

    One set of 13 burpees
    one set of thirteen squats.
    Shower... bed...

    Night y'all.

I felt the need to exercise,
so I laid down and waited for the feeling to pass.
    works every time.

I'm afraid this has become a little too SOP for me. I'd be a lot more enthusiastic about being physically fit if it actually was going to do more than just potentially prolong a slow demise. I've never had to ever do anything but now suddenly I'm looking at having to actually do some exercising to try to keep weight off.

This body design we have is messed up, it seems like you either have good eyesight, or else good teeth, but not both, and then there's the whole way we get one set of permanent teeth. What's up with that? It's stupid, shouldn't it really should be a routine replacement every 12 years, and then the whole aging arrangement is totally backwards. You should start out old, like in your 90's and then work backwards to your puberty and then forwards once more until you die. This way you've two chances at being youthful with some intelligence. If aliens created humans they did a very poor job in my opinion.

kayaking and canoeing with the grands. also lots of swimming and water gun fights. they call mine 'dead eye'. :biggrinn8:

those young'uns can eat too. holy smokes! barbecue getting a good workout.

summer is here in the southern part of northern ontario. temps in the 90's.

I have an almost infinite supply of hard labor here,
I get as much done as I can manage.
other exercise would be a horrible waste of my time and energy.

Likewise I have plenty of chores on my land and my garden to work in, the other exercise I get is hiking with my dog, that's more like a chore too in a way, my dog needs that every day...We have too many coyotes around here to let him run around in the forests or meadows behind my property without supervision...

I am trying to be self sufficient, but not quite there yet. (I would already be there if it were not for my food allergy restrictions)
I am trying to set up an orchard, various trees, will see what works out...
and have an annual vegetable garden, should be feeding myself from that for at least a few months in the summer
and trying to grow all the gain I will need as well, will have the seeds to plant that next year (it takes about 3 years to start from a seed packet and plant all you harvest each year before you can get enough seeds to attempt to feed yourself)
with as little land as I have, it is unlikely I will do very well selling food (but I would do ok),
so my primary plan is to sell garden seeds
I found out that most people don't like foods they have never seen before,
so now I am just growing popular things. (and some other things just for myself)
going to try making a huge amount of pickles this year, I bet they will sell well.
I don't have any animals, I like having winter somewhat off work, can't even vacation in the winter if you have animals.

Sorry to hear. Thats quite rare from what I just read...

What about bees.. a few hives,, let them fly around collecting honey for you.. I think they hibernate during cold seasons

Or grow some medical weed. Thats big business, keeping ppl high enough to endure modern way of life, lol

My neighbor has bees for his allergies, him and his wife are allergic to different grass and tress pollens so they have bees now that collect that and turn it into honey...They eat the honey and build immunities to what they were allergic to naturally...

I only have things that are legal to grow (with federal and state laws), to grow weed, even under state law, you have to give up other civil rights.

    bees are good idea,
currently growing sugar beets for my sugar, but it is not like I need sugar.

48 kms. I've added 8 km . Its a detour to a small harbour. Very nice

Yesterday I spun out in a tight bend ( sand on asphalt ) and had a wee crash. Took the fall on my right forearm.
I'm O.K .. Turns out I was being followed by a visiting Norwegian. We teamed up and had a good chat while biking back into town.
