So far this week, 2 miles on treadmill, 20 pullups and 8 monkey bars, and 30 situps Monday, 44 burpeez on Tuesday, 2 miles walking... Between now and Saturday, planning 2 miles jogging on Treadmill and circuit training.
I use a Nordic Trak 30 minutes per day at current tension 6 which whips up a ton of sweat. I think that is enough for a guy of 66.
44 kms mtb to the Baltic Sea. I dipped my feet in the water nd sat in the sun for 30 mins. It was like being inside an oven.. So nice.. There was a film crew there doing some shooting.. wonder what movie that will become
Continuing curcuit training once a week, Pull-up pyramid once a week, Burpee pyramid once a week, Now adding dips. A few days ago- 1 mile continuous jog in 12:16. Continued intervals for a total of 3.6 miles (Tired, but good) Yesterday- Pyramid of dips... increasing by 2 up to 12.. total of 43 30 incline push-ups. (Not bad..) Tomorrow morning- Burpee pyramid up to 12 increasing by 2. Then intervals of 3 cool down. For a total of 58. (Grueling) Wednesday- .5 mile jog warmup Pull-ups, or circuit train, depending on how I feel. .5 mile cooldown on eliptical machine. Friday or Saturday- Jog Walk 4 miles
Wrist workout (twist top) Elbow workout (raising a glass, many repetitions) I'll have to raise and lower the toilet seat going forward, I think that counts. It seems really important to my wife.
I was riding MTB with a close family member, on a few new gravel roads near my normal route. We ended the 2 hr trip by diving in and swimming in a small freshwater lake... The water was very warm... Also fixed my headset that had started to come undone,making rattling noise in bumps ,just tightened the Allen screws
I hiked just over 4 miles in the forest with my dog early this morning before the storms came in... ...
Strength and endurance are improving. Belly is shrinking. Monday: 1 mile treadmill, Pullup pyramid then as many singles as I could do with rest between. 1 mile on treadmil. WEDENESDAY: 1 mile on treadmil, situps and twists. 3 sets, as many as I could do. Thursday: 3 miles on treadmil in just under 36 minutes. SUNDAY: 1/2 mile warmup on treadmil. Circuit training at 1/2 of my body weight on all machines, as many reps as I could do in one minute. 40 Situps and side twists, then 6 sets of inclined pushups as many a many as I could do in each set. (Till I felt sleepy from the endorphins) .75 mile on treadmil TODAY: 3 sets of 10 burpees this morning after a sausage and egg breakfast. Heading to gym this evening.
Tuesday’s workout: 1.1 mile in 12.00 minutes. .4 mile cool-down 2 X 5 pull-ups 2 X 5 Dips 2 X 6 push-ups using dip bar on lowest setting 6 inches 2 X 6 Air squats 2 X 5 12.5 lb dumbells Man-makers 1 round circuit 30 inclined sit-ups .6 Miles elliptical machine. Tonight's plan: 32 burpees, 2 miles in under 24 minutes.
