If I were to join any "religion", Wicca resonates with me more than others. Like other pre-Christian religions, my own personal spiritual path also places Mother nature at the core of — well everything.

I'm a pretty devout but unconventional Christian. Obviously I can't practice another religion, but I do appreciate what all of them have to contribute. And I've been guilty of borrowing things that don't contradict the core Gospel that we believe in. In fact, I do believe that other gods and goddesses exist, I just don't worship them.

Interesting. That sentiment is also reflected in a song I recorded back in 2019 just prior to the COVID pandemic and the rise of the youth eco-activist movement. It's named after an early post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel called Earth Abides, which is set in Berkley California after a global pandemic wipes-out most of humanity. I had no idea C-19 was going to hit withing a few weeks of recording it !

QUESTION: My circadian rhythm seems to be more synchronized with the Moon than the Sun. I noticed this particularly after I retired and didn't need to set my days according to an alarm clock. Is that something that Wiccan's tend to experience also?

Yesterday my son Ian and I had a long ranging talk . Over the last year he been softening to WICCAN faith. Recently his girlfriend priestess Anna had completed her year and a day teaching and received her athane . He has attended two ceremonies. And asked his sister High priestess Kaylin to begin a two month investigation of interest. . My daughter and I have sought wisdom from the Goddess.
We were shown a glimpse into a future where he becomes a strong faithful warlock. A loving husband and father. It pleases me my children have followed me into the faith. Even if Debbie had to face trials and heartbreak to see her place. She is now a faithful loving servant of the Goddess.
It's all I as a mother can ask

It was my turn to talk to Ian. To answer the question of how Rikki and I work as partners when she has a faith and I do not. It's simple really love wins. See Rikki and I love each other it goes beyond anything we can comprehend. I don't need to share her faith. I don't need to love the goddess I need to love her. I told him that he was a man now. And I told him it was his choice. In the end he must make the call. He asked for advice. "What does your heart tell you? Do you hear the call of the Goddess? Are you doing it for YOU? For HER? Or for the Goddess? I reminded him of what Brian had done to Debbie. To be sure and above all talk to Anna. In the end love will find a way of it's meant to be. Then he asked about something else going on between Anna and himself. But that discussion is not for here.. but I'm happy my son is willing to grow. And love will win.

I awoke this morning. the call of the Goddess was upon me. My son Ian was restless he wanted to go on a drive with me. We drove for hours in silence i KNEW something was about to happen then we saw it standing by the side of road I managed one photo before i was overcome with emotion I knelt in the road and so did he.
I wept no clearer sign was given. It looked at HIM and ran off. i got to him he was weeping unconsolably.
"I am called I am called I heard a voice." I managed "what did it say?" knowing what he would say. " The power of light and Darkness shall guide your path. " He is called to be a warlock of Hern the hunter. My phone lit up it was High priestess Kate. who simply said, "the call has given?" I said "YES" still in tears "I shall speak to our new acolyte soon Blessed be." sat holding my son knowing this moment was planned the day he was born.

Food for thought one in 30,000 deer are born albino. Of those 1% surviving to adult due to poor eyesight and the white coat. Now add to it the fact it had a full rack mid August and Rikki and Ian were LEAD to it. The odds of running into it randomly were like being hit by lightning. My son was forever changed by this event. When my friend Matt saw a UFO I knew it was real by the effect it had on him. Rikki and I are forever changed by our sighting. I am old and set in my ways. But I know what is real and what is not and this was very real

things took a sharp turn. I will post as appropriate, and things are settled All I can say right now is my husband and I are dealing with a crisis. that I'm not sure where it started how or why.

My son Ian was raised to make his own choices. We allowed all our kids to find their own path and destiny. I was surprised to learn Ian had outright rejected the call of the Goddess. He blamed me for trying to force him to make a choice. It was not me. It was the Goddess. It got so bad that for a few days he went to live with Anna. She found love and peace with the Goddess. She had healed her father's heart. Her own path is hard. But she found Ian confused and broken spiritually. Those days with her started a process. A path for him. A way to faith. On his own terms.
She helped heal the rift formed by his initial rejection. His relationship with me and high priestess Kate was healed.
He received this message.
"Everyone must walk a path. And and the end he shall find his power. "
Seeing the avatar and hearing the call was just the start. I was a fool to think otherwise..
His path is not mine or my daughter's.
I can't wait to see where it takes him

I marvel at what has happened. Two years ago Anna's father was broken by her mother abandoned them. Quickly severed all parental ties and divorce soon followed. They have not seen or heard from her since. Anna never gave up. Ian helped her in that dark hour. Her father fell into the bottle. But something happened over time. It was slow but sure. But he was healed. He gave up the bottle. He became loving and caring again. My son had a deep spiritual experience. At first he rejected it. He blamed me. We allowed him to stay with Anna for a few days to sort his feelings out. He met with me and Kate Anna . Something has changed. Anna helped with her words and presence. I hugged Anna I felt it a powerful energetic healing force from her . Ian is being healed faster than her father was. I knew now what has happened. Anna is an empathetic healer. While it functions normally in everyday life contact with the healer speeds up the process. With Anna's father it was daily hugs displays of affection. It took almost 2 years to bring a healing.
With Ian the two have been intimate. On a daily basis. This brought a swift healing for him. Anna wants to be a doctor. It's clear why. Teaching her how to heal is wrong. She will learn and grow.
Anna is not my child.i wish she was in many ways. Her growth since the 1st day we met is amazing.

"You travel with her twice upon the wheel. You grow closer to the end. "

I asked Chris what he thought about Ian becoming a warlock of herne knowing he is being taught already.
"One less soul lost to darkness. The power of light and dark are with him "
I asked him how his own teachings were going.
"I am learning what I need to learn. And so will he. We both will learn what we must in this life instead of waiting for the next ."
