Well...I never challenge things that I know...otherwise there would have been no point learning it.
Moving backwards is not my philosophy as I learn my lessons correctly.
To walk back into darkness is to stumble on one's feet as to neither be sure of which way to fall.
As I have none of these...as who can wait for one's candle to extinguish when there is work to be done.
When the candle does extinguish the work should have been completed, patience is in allowing the fruits of one's labour grow and the time spent cultivating that fruit, all within the life of our burning candle...
Be - don't try to become. Being is enlightenment, becoming is ignorance.
True action, good and radiant action, my friends, does not spring from activity, from busy bustling, it does not spring from industrious hammering. It grows in the solitude of the mountains, it grows on the summits where silence and danger dwell. It grows out of the suffering which you have not yet learned to suffer.
- Hermann Hesse
You must unlearn the habit of being someone else or nothing at all,
of imitating the voices of others and mistaking the faces of others for your own.
- Hermann Hesse
As you breathe in, cherish yourself. As you breathe out, cherish all Beings.
- Dalai Lama
One will weave the canvas; another will fell a tree by the light of his ax. Yet another will forge nails, and there will be others who observe the stars to learn how to navigate. And yet all will be as one. Building a boat isn’t about weaving canvas, forging nails, or reading the sky. It’s about giving a shared taste for the sea, by the light of which you will see nothing contradictory but rather a community of love.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
"Experience is a hard teacher, she gives the test first and the lesson afterwards." - Vernon Sanders Law
"Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor."
- Thich Nhat Hanh
