Alita what did they do to you?
your big, your noisy ,you are colorful.
you kick much ... but have no heart no soul no direction. you drift from battle to battle without a reason to go to them.
I was very disappointed in you Alita. it could have been good. instead we got an average action movie.
My kids liked it at least..
I'm putting in the anime to cleanse my palate

Battle angel Alita is a wonderful Anime! showcasing her struggle as a human trapped in a cyborgs body.
its filled with violence sex and chopped off limbs. but her struggle to come to terms with what happened to her is the basic reason the anime is so great.
    forget the movie..
    watch this instead.

We took our 3 younger children to see this movie. It is a delight! stunning animation, a compelling story and a ending that is emotional send off to the trilogy! this is a film series that gets better with each movie. I and my husband both recommend this movie! our children loved it as well!
Bob rated it 10/10 as do I! as for my children, Both want to adopt dragons while our 4 year old stayed awake and enjoyed it. "I like White fury better than Barney! " I thank the goddess for those small favors! (this is an older ad before the name the hidden world was added and the release date bumped up)
    Blessed Be

We caught UFO last night. Gillian Anderson with a bad wig. Wasn't great but was enjoyable. Couldn't help but think of some of these threads and all the speculation about drive systems and motivations. I thought the movie had an interesting point to make but won't throw out any spoilers.

apollo 11 is a bold documentary. The only thing it does not do is climb into the astronauts heads. vintage footage has been digitized. the result is footage that is perfect. like it was filmed yesterday. The whole captures a moment in time. a perfect moment of national pride. Yet in all the flag waving it reminds us..all of man won the space race. it is an awesome inspired film. Easily the best movie I seen in a long time.
It made a impression on my kids. all left humbled and inspired. My 7 year old said it best. "I want to go to the moon dad!" who knows he may..
go see this movie! and prepare to be inspired!

I was privately asked what I thought of the 1994 Alic Baldwin shadow movie.
I found it to be decent and enjoyable.
the main problem I had was the story.
Tim Curry was excellent and over shown the major villain. had they kept the shadow to fighting the mob lead by Curry it would have been a far better movie.
the shadow was meant to fight the mob not some supernatural villain armed with a nuke.
Baldwin is the the shadow. but we see the shadow to much. he is viable to mich for my taste.
the rest of the cast is ok..
the effects were decent for 1994.
    6.5/10

No spoilers. Liked it ... but .... uhhhh .... yeah, for $7 on Amazon I can recommend it. Odd

Bigfoot is freaky. No CGI. For the weaponologists I say that might be a 1903A3 with a Kerr sling and a K-Bar knife. Could be a Vz. Yes, Sam Elliott has still 'got it'.

    But .... damn ......

oh. and an 03A4 would not have had a front sight blade

Is it a comedy or a drama? And is it supposed to be based on reality?

Drama not comedy. At a few points sort of channeling Tarantino. No, not based on reality - mine anyway :)
Worth a couple of bucks, I liked it but it just sort of fell apart at the end.

Captain Marvel is an amazing movie.
she has heart a reason to fight. powers but human. the story drives her. she moves to protect earth from conquest.
the skulls are the villains. engaged in a plot of conquest that David Icke would be proud of.
the CGI is spot on and astounding. but the best moments brought applause at the beginning of the movie we see a montage of stan Lee cameos and "thank you stan."
And an old man reading a movie script on a train.. He is met with a wink and a smile .
    "trust me true believer"
    go see this movie!
    10/10!

We took the kids to see this movie thinking it would be fun and light.
Wonder Park is dark and brooding.
full of sadness and depression. the kids did not like it it has bright and cheerful animations but the story is a downer.

    I just watched Spider-Man: Homecoming
I rate it at 8.5 out of 10. Some viewers complained that Iron Man played too big a role. But Spider-Man was the main hero throughout.
If you watch it, there's a couple of post-credit scenes.

Dumbo flys! Tim burton did a fantastic job updating a fine fun movie from 1941. I enjoyed it! my kids loved it.
Burton took a lot of liberty to the material and I did not miss the racist crows from the 1941 cartoon.

    Dumbo delights with believable CGI.
fine story and Tim Burton's touch.

Apparently you are one of a few who liked it...

Disney's live action 'Dumbo' struggles to soar at box office

The Walt Disney Co. said Sunday that the Tim Burton-directed film has earned an estimated $45 million domestically from 4,259 locations against a $170 million production budget. It's less than half of what "Beauty and the Beast," ''The Jungle Book" and Burton's own "Alice in Wonderland" opened to.

The remake of the 1941 animated film stars Colin Farrell and Danny DeVito. It got mixed to negative reviews from critics and currently has a middling 53 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
