This is from 2016.

This isn't exactly what I would call a block buster but, I found it to be quite a enjoyable watch. I do like some Vampire shows/movies but, not most. This one was action packed from start to finish. I'd rate it about 6.5 out of 10. Here's the full movie on YT.

Quatermass and the Pit is a very interesting film from 1967. I heard about it on Where Did the Road Go? It's a sci-fi flick with themes involving both ancient aliens and "the supernatural," such as ghosts, psychic phenomena, and the devil. Although the special effects are somewhat dated, it is quite thought provoking. 9/10

You may have heard of this movie by a different title, Five Million Years to Earth.

Pitch Black is great sci-fi - watch it! The acting is amazing - Radah Mitchell is beautiful to watch but the real star of the film is Vin Diesel. The story is amazing - each character has something hidden from everyone else, you feel like something is going to happen any minute now. The special effects are glorious - the three suns are really a sight to watch but the eclipse will take your breath away.

This film is definitely a must see!! It's a perfect combination of great acting, a beautiful story and amazing special effects!

Solid 9/10

I liked the movie. I watched Kerry Cassidy interview Anthony Zender today and he claims Vin's new movie Bloodshot is disclosure about super soldiers.

We just watched this on Netflix - it's a four parter. Didn't think I'd like it but it turned out to be very, very good.

The brilliance of this disturbing movie is it contains shades of real-life domestic challenges. A relentless and bleak experience, it's Groundhog Day on steroids - from the monstrous alien child who screeches non-stop when he wants cornflakes - to the pessimistic take on suburban life. Its full of uncomfortable emotion, that chills the mind, it's entertaining and mysterious but I'm still not sure how I feel about it.

Vivarium is original, quirky, disturbing (especially in light of current events), aesthetically competently realized (I can't say it's beautiful), with even a little depth. Some of the elements are predictable and clumsily hinted , but I did get honestly creeped and weirded out by a couple of scenes. It intriguing, it entertaining, and it did something at least somewhat original. In a niche genre overpopulated by cliches and tired remakes, Vivarium is a breath of fresh air.

The Lodge (2019) - imdb only gave it a 6 but, I would give it a 7 or 7.5 out of 10.

It is well acted, slow paced but, takes you to a shocker of a conclusion. It stars Riley Keough, Elvis' granddaughter. I was pleasantly surprised, she's a pretty talented actor.

Ben Hur is an epic movie it's about revenge and betrayal. it moves forward as a fast clip dispite it's over 3 hour run time. Judas Ben Hur is front and center he is our guide in a world of cruel violence. but drifting in and out of the movie is a different man a man of peace. a man who gave Ben Hur water..
Ben Hur remembers his act and even though the man never speaks Ben Hur hea5s his message of love and peace. But he is to wrapped up in his hate to understand.
And so when he hears this good man is to be crucified he tries to repay the kindness shown to him..
And in his death he finally understood..

“Almost At The Moment He Died, I Heard Him Say, "Father, Forgive Them For They Know Not What They Do” To Which Esther Said “Even Then” And Ben-Hur Replied, “Even Then. And I Felt His Voice Take The Sword Out Of My Hand."
Powerful moving epic and iconic.

Started a star trek marathon!
Star trek 1:
This movie is SLOW!
more interested in specal effects than story.
The plot is a rehash of the episode "the changeling."
And the uniforms..whoever designed them should be shot.
Kirk Repeats lines like;
"fast Uhura Fast!"
and "No one interfere!"
bottom line
looks great less story. 4.5/10

Search for Spock.
The next movie in the "Khan" Trilogy is an enjoyable romp. Action adventure and emotional moments.
I saw this when it 1st came out. I cried at the death of the enterprise.
I still do 10/10
