I recently finished season one of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix...What a cliffhanger they left us with lol...There's a lot of character building in the first season leading up to a saving the world scenario and the character building pays off too...There's three seasons available on Netflix and I'll be starting season two very soon, I'm really enjoying this series thus far...

Commenting on the TV show rather than the movie, I'm 3/4 of the way through my rewatch, and I still find it to be rather good. Moreover, it gets plenty of props from fans. But, it was heavily panned by most professional reviewers.

After the horror of lightyear. I was hesitant to see minions. Ian brought an pack of his friends so this was a big outing. I was not disappointed . Minions is everything lightyear is not.
It's funny witty and entertaining.
A joy to watch begining to end. All my kids loved it. Including the pack of teens invited by Ian. After the movie they went off to the skate park with his younger brother in tow.

I started watching season two tonight, the first episode of season two, and Wow!...The first seven minutes are incredible and totally unexpected, what a way to start season two after the cliffhanger of season one lol...

It was a colder rainy day today so I stayed in the house all day, finished my chores and finished watching season two of Umbrella Academy...Great story writing, I like how everything has meshed together since the pilot episode and with a brilliant season two finale...Looking forward to watching season three which I'll start in a few days...

For his birthday Ian wanted to see thor.
We were joined by his friends all wanting to help him have an awesome birthday
The movie was a muddled mess. Poorly edited and horrid CGI Debbie said she could do better on a TRS 80..
About 29 min in Ian said to me "dad the movie sucks! " Angry I took him out to find management. I told the guy it was Ian's birthday and the movie was bad.
To add Ian told him "that thing is garbage dude."
I told him I wanted in on the next showing of minions or a refund. Looking at 15 refunds. He had me get every one and he bumped us up on him to a IMAX minions showing
This every one loved and I sought him out after and have him a $20 tip.
Thor love and thunder rating. 0/10 WALKED OUT ON.

I didn't finish this movie, after the horrible Zeus segment I stopped watching Thor Love and Thunder...When Zeus walked down the stairs on tippy toes holding his mini skirt like a ballerina, that was enough for me...
This movie played like a horrible parody than an actual Thor movie...Even the Guardians of the Galaxy were made to look and act like complete fools at every turn...

100% agree! I rarely walk out on a movie but when my son was upset with it I had to act. Ian's friends were getting restless and it was ruining his birthday.

Really enjoying season 3 thus far, I'm about half way through...Season 3 takes things to another level without stepping all over the first 2 seasons...I read that season 3 recently dropped so it may be a little while before season 4 comes around...
