Every second was pure joy and magic! NOT a live action cash in but a fantastic movie the kids enjoyed (even the older ones!) "Under the sea "and" poor unfortunate souls "rank as the iconic songs they are! And a major end change that completes Ariel's arc perfectly.

I watched this last night, Sisu (2023), a very enjoyable movie, especially if you don't mind seeing Nazis getting killed off by one angry Finnish mercenary lol...The airplane scene is unbelievably awesome...8/10

Film critic Christian Toto observed that review websites often appear to protect movies 'embraced by the left'.

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) activated an "alternate weighting calculation" in order to compensate for alleged "unusual activity" among audiences reviewing the new "Little Mermaid" remake.

The new film has been criticized from a variety of perspectives, ranging from the racial recasting of what was originally a White character to criticism of Asian actress Awkwafina’s rap song "The Scuttlebutt" and Wesley Morris lamenting in The New York Times that the children’s film lacked "kink."

The movie's mixed reflection appears to have extended to its reviews, to the point IMDb has stepped in.

There seems to be this trend of shows that are streaming that even after you have invested hours into and watched seasons of, you still don't know what the heck is happening. Both of these shows are well acted and riveting....

Another show that I just finished watching is so far only one season long and I am pretty sure it is based in the UK even though it also says it is from the US because the season only has 6 episodes, is called, Silo:

So we watched all the episodes, 1st and 2nd season, although there are 2 more episodes left in season 2, I think they drop on Friday night...Anyway, this is a really good series, good acting and the story is unfolding really well now, especially in season 2...Very entertaining show, both seasons, I hope there's a 3rd season...

I have some ideas about what's going on, but not a full picture, just bits and pieces lol...It's getting reeeally interesting as more is revealed...The dreams lately are intriguing...I have 8 episodes of season 2, the 8th one became available a couple days ago...I have the feeling they are going to leave us with a huge cliffhanger at rhe end of this season...

as part of Chris birthday and father's day we went to see transformers. It's a dull movie moving slowly from one fight to the next . The fights are dull affairs ending in a massive metallic clang! Chris and Samantha were bored with Samantha dozing off. Ian was more interested in Anna then the movie sparking a bit of romance for Rikki and I . "You never kissed me in a theater since we started dating.. " maybe we should go to dry dull movies more often!

all good things must come to an end. And they go out with a bang! A fun romp. Action adventure and marvel returning to form. Even though Samantha slept Thu some of it the kids enjoyed it.

The Flash 2023, absolute garbage, horrible CGI, way too much of that annoying trying to be funny persona of Ezra Miller, and under used cameos...Not worth the price of admission in the theater, 3/10...

For me, one of the shining spots of the film was seeing Michael Keaton as Batman once more, that was great, however he barely gets any screen time...The film blows it out of the water with Batman in the end, I don't know if it was supposed to be a joke or what but damn lol...

Yesterday was the last day for this movie. We entered the theater to find less than 10 others. The movie was a total mess. Completely incomprehensible Rikki and I struggled to make any sense of it. Samantha found the movies bright and cheery style to her liking .Chris thought it was ok. And the rest well were lost.
The fact the flash beat this movie and it closed after two weeks shows how bad it is.

I read about that movie, more woke garbage, its turning out to be Disney's worst movie ever in regards to box-office returns...

After the woke nonsense doctor who has become I decided to show the very 1st doctor who episodes ever. . "An unearthly child " the doctor is a villian. He is harsh and unkind. Susan is shallow and meek. Ian and Barbra are also undeveloped the story is functional .
"The daleks" this episode got the show rolling. The shared danger started bonding the crew this is THE episode that truly started doctor who.
"The edge of disaster" the TARDIS is malfunctioning and driving every one mad this episode is Filler and serves to soften the doctor a bit.
"Maco polo" (60 min condensed recon)
It's ok a slow plodding adventure. Like many historical adventures tended to be.

He's an amazing fella. I think his wife, Tracy Pollan, is just as amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this from start to finish. I think it was also produced by his son, Sam.
