in the shadow of a near murder comes slender man. a horror movie based on the internet legend.
my review the movie is short.
    it's garbage.
    poorly shot and edited.
    avoid the movie!

as a follow up to the review only one theater in Madison Wisconsin would show the movie with 100% of the money going to the kids that were almost killed. So I went only to donate to them.

Ah to be a parent. I volunteered to chaperone A date between my younger daughter and he would be boyfriend.
They went to see the nun.
This horror film is big on jump scares. most of the fright comes from these. The movie is a mess poorly edited. A not so scary demon and an ending that must be seen to be believed. the acting is so so. Taissa Famiga is the best actor in the movie that stared B list actors.
The nun is a watchable movie short on scares (except for the aforementioned jump scares). It is good on atmosphere but bad on plot.

The first superhuman movie by M. Night Shyamalan was "Unbreakable" with Bruce Willis, then this movie above "Split" and a third movie is coming out in January 2019 called "Glass"...

Searching. Full of twists and turns and a gratifying ending. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

The 1931 Dracula stands as a classic of horror. And for good reason without blood or gore it produces scares. Legosi is iconic. just saying the name Dracula and you see his image. The movie left Debbie truly frightened. Her boyfriend was shaken. They don't make movies like this anymore..

    I lost a coin flip.
I escorted Deb and Brian to see the predator.
Rikki took Kate and Angie to see A simple Favor. (her review later)
I sat by my self leaving the lovebirds alone.
The predator is a by the numbers late summer movie.
I knew who was going to adorn the predators trophy wall way before he got them.
it had an odd twist and a new take on why the aliens are here..and it is a little more than being on safari.
it is noted the teens were more interested in each other then the film but hey teens movies. and I recall taking a date to the movies. MV5BMjM5MDk2NDIxMF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNjU5NDk3NTM@._V1_.jpg

    A simple favor.
I truly enjoyed this movie! it was an edge of your seat mystery! A woman investigates the disappearance of her best friend. But what if she does not want to be found? Maybe she has an agenda? What if she has secrets that should have been left alone?
It was sharp witty and kept me guessing until the end. A very enjoyable movie!

I escorted Kate and Angie to see this movie.
My words are feeble here. Powerful,Emotional and thought provoking. the Lead actors nailed every scene. Lady gaga is amazing.
This is a must see movie that I will be taking Rikki to see. (she ended up seeing venom.)
easily the best movie I seen this year.
    me:10/10
    Kate:11/10
    Angie: 11/10
    go see this movie!

First half I almost turned off but when the First Purge kicked off, it was a fairly decent film. Not going to win any Oscars but switch your brain off and enjoy the ride sort of film.

Really enjoying the Amazon Prime Purge TV series at the moment though...
