'Snow White' surpasses 'Fast and Furious' film in how much it polluted the environment

(Excerpt)

Disney's remake of "Snow White" produced more carbon emissions than the most recent "Fast & Furious" film, according to a report by the progressive outlet The Guardian on Sunday, marking another negative headline for the poorly performing live-action film.

According to an analysis of over 250 Walt Disney Movie sets, "Snow White" and "The Little Mermaid" produced more pollution than any other Disney film made in the United Kingdom since 2019, when environmental reporting requirements first went into effect, according to the Guardian report.

The environmental reports show that combined, "Snow White" and "The Little Mermaid" produced more pollution than the annual amount produced by Birmingham and Luton airports. Each film generated more pollution than the annual totals for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and London’s O2 Arena, the site claimed.

Apparently based on an earlier TV series that I never heard of. Cute movie if a bit long-ish and filled with sisterly emotion that had me looking at my phone, playing with the cat....... Overall a recommend, we enjoyed it.

'The Substance' - bloody great new horror film with Demi Moore and Dennis Quaid.

Viewer discretion as lots of Cronenberg-esque body horror but very intelligently made.

Not a bad movie at all. Not great but we liked it. A warning, if you are a devout Christian you probably won't care for it. It gets very deep and has a very interesting twist. I believe there's a sequel, this movie certainly tees one up.

Michael Dorn and John Billingsley are in it with small roles.

Did I recently post this or just think I did ? Dunno.

We watched Dirty Harry the other night because my wife had never seen it. There was a nugget I never noticed before. At about the 00:15 mark where he's walking into the burger joint you can see a movie marquee that says Play Misty For Me which was another current Clint Eastwood movie at that time.

The rest of the movies in the series are bad but this one's actually pretty darned good, we enjoyed it. Andrew Robinson as the Scorpio killer was absolutely fantastic and I assume it's common knowledge amongst Trek fans that he was Elim Garak on DS9. A simple tailor, one of my favorite characters from any of the Trek series.

Excellent movie, well worth it. Although he stars in it Richard Burton is the lead, it's not exactly a Clint Eastwood movie. NAturally I had to break out my MP40 and potato masher replica to watch it, fort up on the couch with the dog.
