Telling User Review from IMDB.
They need to remove the comedy tag. Seriously, in no way shape or form could this be considered a comedy.

Imagine taking a kids show and turning it into a disgusting college frat house drama where everyone is a bully and vomiting for laughs. This might be the most hate filled re-interpretation of a cartoon I've ever seen.

The people who created this show obviously have an agenda here. Are they really going for 100% rage views? Is destroying an established franchise going to get them into some secret Hollywood club? Do the creators have some kind of personal vendetta against Scooby-Doo from their childhood? I really don't get it.

Here's a great Kung Fu short film, 20 minutes long, starring Donnie Yen and Jet Li who both appear towards the end with an outstanding performance by Donnie Yen...Both Jet Li and Donnie Yen are close to 60 years old now, this short film was done in 2017...I liked the Sumo fight too lol...

Let me know your thoughts watching it with the kids.

I liked Shin Ultraman, it stayed true to the original 1960s version, which I watched when I was a kid lol...This movie is entertaining, the version I watched had English subtitles...

I watched part one, well done, I like it...Stays fairly true to the novels and anime, I read some fans didn't like the changes made to the Titans but I didn't have a problem with that...I'll watch part two in an hour or two, they left it off at a good spot lol...7/10

Attack on Titan part two is well done too and the ending was excellent, the Titans are creepy as hell...I like hearing the Japanese language so reading english subtitles during scenes of dialog and interpersonal exchanges is never a problem...During heavy action scenes I don't normally read the subtitles, movies like this especially but also kung fu movies...I'd like to see more Japanese anime made into live action movies...Attack on Titan is a solid 7/10 for me...

We watched this - I think - because my wife's got the hots for Channing Tatum. Well, OK :)
Maybe a 5/5 because it's got a cute dog in it. After the first two minutes you can easily figure out the plot. There's an interesting twist in which we see an old and not entirely unfamiliar WWF wrestler in there. What the hell, it passed the time pleasantly enough although I admit to having one eye in a book ......

Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a good movie, enjoyable and entertaining, keeping fairly close to the source material (comic books) especially when it come to Kang the Conqueror...It has a few minor issues which I didn't think needed to be there or just wasn't good timing and there was one underlying issue which bothered me a bit...However the positives outweighed it all, I liked the background into Kang, they did a peticular spin on MODOK that I never saw coming...I didn't know what to think about that character at first but I warmed up to their take on him and kind of like his origin story, kind of weird but it was okay lol...I want to see this movie again when it comes out in digital so I can watch it at home at my own pace...There were a lot of scenes with a lot going on and I'm sure I missed some stuff...

7/10

MODOK is Darren Cross, the villian from the first Ant-man movie (Yellow Jacket)...Believe it or not lol...They told a pretty good back story to make this happen that fit the movie well enough...He looks kind of strange with the helmet off lol, some of the jokes made at him in the movie were funny too...

Two nights ago we watched Forbidden Planet. There's a lesson in there about viewing old material through modern eyes - you start cherry picking. I noticed things I never had before. Like Star Trek: The Motion(less) Picture the visual effects are cool but where's the fast forward button on a lot of that? The freaky-sci fi music is annoying. I can live with that. Ann Francis is smokin' hot and could easily step right into 2023 and nothing would change. But I never noticed the comments about horny men cooped up a long time and all the leering. Yikes !

I also know that it was intended to fit into a contemporary audience but Earl Holliman literally cracked me up and not because he was the comedy relief. Imagine the USS Enterprise under Capt. Kirk and in the galley is a WW2 US Navy cook. Maybe powdered eggs and beans never go out of style. Gassy choices for an enclosed saucer, I'm just sayin'. I fell asleep before we saw the Krill labs, but for ten bucks I own this now and can review it at my leisure

Last night we watched Destination Moon. It seems to have held up where others didn't. Yes, it's hokey. No Navy cook but you have a wise-cracking Brooklyn comedy relief, a sort of Bugs Bunny with pants puled up really high. They all have that :) and suspenders. They actually got a lot of general things right that we'd later see in Apollo but it still required effort not to laugh. They have to jettison all sorts of stuff as they lack reaction mass to lift off again. The ship's log comes out of a standard desk drawer and is written in pencil in a notebook ! They are throwing away steel filing cabinets, all sorts of crap. That's the drama. I was thinking if they could've chucked all the Brill Creme in their hair that alone would probably have saved quite a bit.

A peek at another time.

I finally finished watching the Stranger Things series through season four...I like this series, it would be nice to see a fifth season come along, it is entertaining...They built up the characters well enough given that many of them are children however they matured into their roles well going into the third and fourth seasons...Well done show, 8/10...

This one's a keeper - well worth watching. 10/10 - cinematic perfection ! Watch this and tell be you're not watching Alien circa 1958.

No spoilers but let's just say there are a few plot elements that are questionable. Like letting a suspected mass murder run loose and all you do is make snarky comments at him. Not hog tie him or anything impractical. And these are 1950s Americans dammit ! The women on board are serving coffee and sammiches and generally keeping to the kitchen, everyone is chain smoking and there is at least 52 pounds of Brill Creme present on screen at all times. That's what it was like when I grew up. Got a monster problem on your spaceship ?? Break out the M1 Garands, the 1911A1 .45s and the bazooka. Nothing bad will happen if you fire an anti-tank rocket inside a space capsule right? Falcon Heavy's got those too I assume just in case of monsters.

Wish I had the suit. This movie scared the crap out of me as a kid.
