Robot Taught Itself Chess

As Above So Below
Checkmate humanity: In four hours, a robot taught itself chess, then beat a grandmaster with moves never devised in the game's 1,500-year history and the implications are terrifying

AlphaZero, an AI computer program, this month proved itself to be the world’s greatest ever chess champion, thrashing a previous title-holder, another AI system called Stockfish 8, in a 100-game marathon.

This robot taught itself chess in just four hours and learned moves never seen before. A leading Oxford academic, Professor Michael Wooldridge, warned that AI could go ‘rogue’.

We won't stand a chance against AIs that develop singularity.

Kinda makes me hope there is no such thing as reincarnation. That way I'll already be gone before it/they take over and I won't have to worry about coming back. :ohmy8:

Wouldn't it be a total shocker if reincarnation does exist and we get sent back into an AI body .

There's been a lot of fear mongering over AI the last couple of years as if they are priming us for an AI induced event.
