Almost 50% of the earth's land area is north of the Tropic of Cancer.
More warmth is beneficial to mankind. 30% more people in the US die in the winter than in the summer.
If Canada and Russia were habitable we could support double the current population easily.

As far as the more people issue, the problem isn't that we are getting more people, it is that we are getting more dumb people.

I'm all for smart people. Theres nothing worse than have to follow a dumb / low I.Q leader or boss..
just one thing.
Smart people can also be very evil and senseless.. and perhaps thats worse. Cuz you can always fool the fool to follow you. Reverse psychology
The E.Q thingy matters imo.

It is a really bad idea to have more dumb people.
To get from the New Guinea 59 IQ to the old US (pre-illegal-imigration) IQ of 100 you have to kill off the dumbest 99.6% of the population.
Letting dumb people become permanent residents is worse than bad, it is unforgivable.
Are we going to kill off the dumbest 20-30% of Americans to get the IQ up to where it used to be?
Automation is going to go after dumb people tasks first. What are we going to do with dumb people that aren't employable?
You do know that cotton and pretty soon tomatoes will be picked by machine?

They created the problem. They will now have to support all the poor out of work "Dumb" ppl.

Illegal and "lottery" immigration is making our dumb people problem worse.
Further, dumb immigrants are less likely to integrate and more likely to feel alienated since they have a hard time getting better jobs and understanding/adopting the culture. Given that most Moslems come from sub 90 (much of the Moslem world is sub 80) countries this explains some of the radicalization.

But a larger country that has 1/10 the population of the US.
And Alaska at 665,384.04 sq miles (1/5 of the total US territory) has about the population of DC which is 68.34 sq miles. The population density is 1/10000th that of DC.
Claiming that these areas aren't mostly trees and wild aminals is BS.

Barely, but Australia has an even lower population density than Russia or Canada, there's more frogs then there are humans in Australia...
