We shouldn't be doing this. We have no idea what kind of civilization is on those planets, if there is one at all. I wouldn't take the risk sending them a message if they are nomadic and have the tech to travel here. We wouldn't win that war. Will Smith wouldn't save us. I also would not want to fight a civilization that is leaps and bounds ahead of us, and I would have to.

This is what I've been saying too, it's extremely dangerous and ignorant to send messages to planets with possible intelligent life...

Those astronomers doing this must be stopped and get worldwide permission before speaking and acting for the world...

Thats how I deal with e mail. I created a inbox rule that deletes every incomming and puts it straight in the trash can..

Ppl who send me e mails havnt complained yet. And I am much happier than when I used to read them all..

Anything important can be dug up, lol

If we delete their emails without reading or replying, we should stop sending emails to them too.
