Soul's Memories

I beleive every living thing shares a cosmic energy....

I do understand what you say, and I feel that way about some humans.

Or maybe they do have a soul, but it is just too dark to see...

A cosmic energy and a self aware soul are two different things...

And I am not so sure that animals do not have souls...

My horse, and my cat, sure seemed to...

But I didnt see any animals running around in my OOB experience...

What about people who suffer from multiple personalities ( MPD) I mean what about the soul in that ? Do they all share the same one ? I know the Ancient Egyptians believed in a soul with 3 distinct parts ( some say 5 parts ) to it (ka, ba and akh ) even though it is one and the same soul . The conception of soul in Ancient Egypt was very complex.

In what way?...
My horse would walk up behind me when I was working on the fence, and put the soft part of her nose on my neck, and rub softly...

I had a walking stick, and the horse came up, put her mouth on it, so I let her take it, then she acted as if she was using it to walk like I did... funny.. Then she dropped it and grinned..
The look in her eyes was priceless... Made me think she was making fun of me... and she sort of winnied as if laughing out loud at me....
I patted her neck and said she was my friend, and she pushed her head against my chest, and grunted as if saying 'yeah...'

My cat would ask for hugs... real hugs. She would put two front paws up and hold them out gently as if asking to be picked up, then she would put her arms out around the neck and push her cheek against the neck... so sweet.

Maybe that is more than just a brain... it sure seemed like heart and soul...

Cats are divine creatures, mine do that as well they are very affectionate and intelligent in between their more instinctive traits.

I do not believe every living being has a soul, there is always the possibility of acquiring such a body...I do not believe every alien has a soul either, but that's a stretch to speculate upon that notion...

I believe animals have an energy or a spirit but it's not the same thing as a soul even though animals seem very human. We have artificial intelligence that is very human-like but it doesn't have a soul.

Here's an unusual report, I have not heard many people describe something like this before...

One letter described a soul literally being torn from a body. The man who experienced this wrote a description of what happened after he went to bed one night:

"My head had been on the pillow less than thirty seconds when, for want of a better word, it exploded, 'it' being my head. The only way I can describe this shocking sensation was that I thought a bomb had blown me to pieces, and that 'I' was nowhere. I ceased to be."

Eventually his wife woke up and they switched on the bedroom light and sat up in bed talking quietly about what might have happened. He knew the experience hadn't been a dream, because he'd never fallen asleep. They then heard a low humming that gradually changed into a loud, steady throbbing sound.

A quick glance at the clock revealed it was 2:30 a.m. (note that the time was almost the same as when the friend in Austin was contacted in the last letter I'll mention here). The throbbing became deeper and faster, then seemed to stop right over the roof of their house, directly above the bedroom.

Before he could go outside to see what was going on, he felt something invisible grab his chest and start pulling with amazing force. He wrote, "I felt like my soul, not my body, was being pulled up vertically towards the still loud throbbing noise, and although I thought it would be futile, I screamed out for my wife to lie on top of me.

She did this, and the sensation of pulling eased a little. I was screaming and struggling against an 'invisible beam,' with my wife lying full length on top of me in my own bed at 2:30 a.m. What a sight we would have presented if someone had walked in!"

This went on for two full hours. "They pulled, I resisted, my wife hung on and the engine throbbed, until finally it went away, and exhausted and badly shaken, even devastated, we fell asleep."
