As Above So Below
MUFON report

March 16 2018

Ocala Florida

While working, spotted square object about half the size of a 1300 square foot house about a mile away. Flying not slow, not fast. Made 90 degree directional turn.

Couldn’t believe what I was seeing that I asked 2 old ladies in the neighborhood if they could actually see what I was seeing just to make sure I wasn’t seeing things.

They looked at said they couldn’t believe it either and said they were going him to go look on the internet to see if anyone had posted anything about it. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

too far away, the plane would be an tiny dot from that distance

The description from multiple witnesses does not match your judgement from a single image...

Hi guys,
I personally lean heavily toward the 'Aerial Banner Advertisement Explanation'
BCiAdjMCUAATqyu.jpg

As can be seen on this photograph , the tether length between the plane and banner can sometimes be quite long, and I believe that if this banner was placed on the op-photograph then the plane would be well out of the shot [as it is in the picture in question].And yes Nivek my old mucka, I agree that the witness statement contradicts that assumption, but after a little 'googling' of other sources of this story... I find the common denominator on all of the hits is the name of 'Scott C Waring', whom i'm sure you know is a well known pusher of ufological BS. ..

Cheers.

Hello 1963, how's ya?
IMO most ufo pics like in the OP; the person who took the photo probably knows full well what it is.
It looks good= put things like ufo/ unexplained in the description & away ya go- yet one more in the unexplained photo pile.
If there's something REALLY in the sky that no one has ever seen before (as said pic depicts) then there would be more reports/ photos/ videos to look at, especially in broad daylight- but there never is.

So that sums it up for me.

Just saying it as I see it:wink8:

Hi Notdej, i'm doing fine thanks [apart from being pretty busy in general life anyway] hope that all is fine with you and yours matey. ... And yes I have to agree that the vast majority of 'UFO photos/videos are either fakes or known to be of a prosaic origin [fame and fortune are powerful incentives for a whole lot of snake oil salesmen] and I know that it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff when perusing these offerings... but it's just in my nature to deem the prospect of finding one gold nugget among all of the turds worthwhile. And I suspect that i'm not alone in this quest... as evidenced by the presence of everyone here [and other sites]. ... And the ratio of shite vs good-stuff is frustrating I know!... but in the end it'll be worth it, i'm sure mate.

Cheers.
