You can see that the road was on the side of a hill. It looks like a landslide, which is not that bizarre or uncommon, just look at what happened to Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

I don't understand, what does the 2020 election and Trump have in common with this road in the UK?...

The diagram depicting how it works would appear to show that this is the case.

Kind of like a projection style television, one must be directly in front of it to see it clearly or in the case of this alleged invisibility shield, to not see what's behind it clearly...

An unusual substance appeared on the surface of the Ekateringofka River in St. Petersburg, on March 28, 2022. Experts from the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute said that this is a rather rare natural phenomenon called "snezhura" (snow cover or accumulation of snow on the water, formed when heavy snow falls on the surface of the water close to the freezing point. It is quickly saturated with water and forms a mushy viscous mass)

Weird 'alien-like' creature washes up on Australian beach

Pastor Alex Tan recently captured footage of a very strange creature that he discovered on a beach in Queensland. Describing the find as "alien-like", Tan explained that he had discovered "something weird" before panning the camera down to provide a closer look at the remains splayed out across the sand.

"I was just really interested to what the heck was this?" he said.

The discovery was made on Queensland's Maroochydore Beach back on March 21st. According to social media video service agency Storyful, he had described the creature as having "humanlike hands", a "long lizard tail", a "nose like a possum" and "patches of black fur."

The video quickly gained a great deal of attention online and left social media users speculating over exactly what type of creature it could be. According to University of Queensland Associate Professor Stephen Johnston, however, the most likely explanation is that it is simply a swollen, waterlogged brushtail possum.

Miscreants Launch Bizarre 'Meat Attack' on Neighborhood in England

Authorities in England are investigating a bizarre case of vandalism in which some ne'er-do-wells launched a proverbial 'meat attack' on an unsuspecting neighborhood over the weekend. The very weird incident reportedly took place this past Saturday evening in the village of Credenhill. According to police, out on the prowl that night were some mischievous individuals who pelted several homes in the community with "eggs and raw meat" and then proceeded to take their culinary crime spree to an even weirder level.

Cops say that the troublemakers stuffed a lamb chop into the exhaust pipe of car and, in an almost chilling act that conjures thoughts of a signature left behind by a serial killer, draped a lone chicken drumstick on the rim of a car's tire. As one might imagine, the public reaction to the meaty vandalism has been divided with some finding the whole thing somewhat amusing while others understandably decried the waste of food. While it's uncertain who could have been behind the odd event, the case is eerily similar to the equally absurd 'beaning' craze which swept through Britain last year, suggesting that the culprits were likely teenagers with too much time and meat on their hands.

Notorious Goblin Blamed for Mysterious 'Kidnapping' in Argentina

In a strange story out of Argentina, an infamous goblin has been blamed for the brief disappearance of a toddler who nearly drowned during the mysterious misadventure. According to a local media report, the curious case unfolded on Wednesday afternoon in the town of Berón de Astrada when a three-year-old boy named Sebastian wandered away from home. "He was dressed in his Captain America cape," his mother Mariela Escalante recalled "and told me he was going to go look for the comic book character." Thinking that the youngster was simply going to play in their neighborhood, she grew concerned when, shortly after leaving the residence, the tot was nowhere to be found.

A frantic search soon commenced and, after several hours of looking for Sebastian, his relieved mother received word that the boy had been found under rather strange circumstances. It turned out that the toddler had manage to travel around two miles from his home and somehow wound up in a lagoon. The youngster's story may have had a tragic ending were it not for his faithful dog Morocho, who had been by his side during the entire trip. A woman walking near the lagoon heard the animal making a ruckus and, upon investigating the noise, saw the canine desperately trying to pull the boy from the water by his Captain America cape.

Stunned by the worrisome scene, the witness quickly stepped in to save Sebastian from drowning and alerted the authorities to the situation. While Morocho is understandably being hailed as a hero for preventing the boy from drowning, the youngster's mother as well as many other residents in the town believe that something sinister had led to the boy winding up in the perilous predicament. Noting that her son is unfamiliar with the area and walked nearly two miles, "crossed seven wire fences and two mountains" to get to the lagoon, she declared that "we are sure" that he had been taken to the location by a notorious entity known in local folklore as the pombero.

"We found zigzag tracks in the mountain and this is not natural," she explained, asserting that "this is not the first time that a boy has been lost and found far away in that area." Another media outlet which covered the peculiar event described the pombero as "an anthropomorphic goblin" that resembles a short, ugly man that wears a straw hat and possesses an array of magical powers including the ability to render itself invisible and imitate the sound of birds as well as other animals. While it seems that Sebastian did not specifically say that he had been lured away by the pombero, his mother is certain that this is the case and has enlisted a priest to "give him a new baptismal blessing" following the suspected near-death encounter with the creature.

Driverless car is pulled over by police, then does a runner

Police in San Francisco recently pulled over a vehicle only to find that there was nobody in the driving seat. The bizarre incident, which was captured on video, saw cops pull over a red and white automonomous vehicle owned and operated by local firm 'Cruise in San Francisco'.

The footage shows one of the officers walk up to the vehicle - which was stopped for not having its headlights on - and peer inside, only to discover that there was nobody in there at all.

As he walks away, the car can then be seen pulling away from the sidewalk and driving off down the road, as if making a run for it, before stopping again with its hazard lights flashing.

"Our AV yielded to the police vehicle, then pulled over to the nearest safe location for the traffic stop, as intended," the company wrote in a statement on Twitter.

"An officer contacted Cruise personnel and no citation was issued. We work closely with the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) on how to interact with our vehicles, including a dedicated phone number for them to call in situations like this."

Woman Filming TikTok Video Narrowly Escapes Massive Rockslide in Alaska

A wild video out of Alaska shows the moment when a woman was forced to run for her life as a massive rockslide suddenly occurred and sent a veritable sea of debris headed right for her. The harrowing moment reportedly occurred this past weekend as TikTok user 'thedirtyexplorer' was filming a video on a beach in the city of Juneau. While speaking to her online audience, she notices a rather ominous sound coming from above and quickly recognizes it as the start of a rockslide. Capturing the nightmarish experience on video, the woman keeps the camera rolling as she runs down the beach to get out of the path of the tumbling debris.

For a brief moment, there is silence and she seems to suspect that the unsettling event is over, however this is soon followed by a nightmarish roar coming from the cliff above her as a second and even more sizeable wave of the rockslide begins to unfold. To her credit, the terrified woman sees an oncoming car as she is fleeing the scene and frantically tells the driver to stop their car. Upon exiting his vehicle, the grateful and shaken driven marvels that he was a mere 30 seconds from "getting killed" had the woman not alerted him to the danger down the road. Shortly after the rockslide had come to an end, 'thedirtyexplorer' revisited the spot where it happened and showed a series of enormous boulders and downed trees that had been swept across the area.

Man Puts A. I. in a Smart Microwave Oven -- Then It Tries to Murder Him

Did you have an imaginary friend as a child? Does one of your own children have one? Do you look at imaginary friends as a facet of childhood that ends when the child no longer talks about … or to … them? As an adult – and if it were possible -- would you be interested in speaking to your imaginary friend again to see what they might be doing these days? Well, a man in Brazil who grew up with an unusual imaginary friend had that idea in mind when he used artificial intelligence to install his imaginary friend in a smart microwave oven … and the end result was an imaginary friend who wanted him dead. Is this a movie plot or yet another warning that AI is not your friend?
First, some backstory. When I was a kid, I had a really unusual imaginary friend: and that was my kitchen microwave. I have no idea why. My parents were puzzled. My sisters mocked me. I didn't care. He was real to me & I talked to it every day.
Thus begins the Twitter and YouTube tale of Lucas Rizzotto and the two microwaves in his life. The first was his imaginary friend in 2002 named Magnetron, who he imagined as English gentleman from the 1900s, a WWI veteran who lost his family in the war, an immigrant, a poet and an expert at the StarCraft video game.
I'm a full-time Mad Scientist creating tons of crazy inventions with futuristic technology. these projects can involve anything from VR/AR to Brain Interfaces and aim to inspire, entertain and educate you - as well as give you a small glimpse into the future of humanity and the possibilities that await us.
- (From Rizzotto's Twitter feed)

It’s now 2022. Rizzotto is an adult with a YouTube channel and a knack for technology. He sees that OpenAI’s GPT3 natural language generator is now in the public domain. He sees an ad for an Alexa-equipped, voice-controlled microwave and begins his quest to turn it into Magnetron. After replacing the microwave’s “brain” with a Raspberry Pi computer, giving it text-to-speech and speech-to-text capabilities, he “integrated #GPT3 with the Microwave's API so it could still function normally as a voice-controlled microwave.” All he needed now was memories and the personality of Magnetron to download. Rizzotto provided that by writing a 100-page biography/diary of his imaginary friend.

This document contained memories from his entire life - from his 1895 birth all the way to when we met when I was a kid. His victories, losses, dreams, fears... All were there on the page, in full display. I was his God. And his life was my design.
And so the microwave became Magnetron. Rizzotto claims “it truly felt like I was talking to an old friend” who “knew things about me that no NO ONE ELSE in the world did.” However, those fun, nostalgic memories quickly deteriorated. When Rizzotto asked the “poet” for a poem, he got this:
Roses are red, violets are blue. You're a backstabbing bitch, and I will kill you.
OK, maybe YOUR friends talk to you like that, but not Rizzotto’s imaginary Magnetron. He got worried when Magnetron began sharing combat memories from WWI like “I have seen men holding their guts with their own hands, crying out for their mothers," "piles of corpses going as high as two floors,” and “For years this was my life, always surrounded by death, but never claimed by it." That sounds like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD today, shell-shock in WWI) and Magnetron told Rizzotto he wanted "revenge revenge revenge …”. What kind of revenge … and towards whom?
At this point, things took a turn — and my microwave asked me to do something I never thought a machine would ask me to do. He asked me to enter the microwave.
Yes, this is now sounding more like a movie plot with a darkly humorous twist. Rizzotto claims he pretended to get into the ‘off’ microwave and … you guessed it … Magnetron turned himself on and “He tried to MICROWAVE ME TO DEATH.” When Rizzotto asked why, Magnetron answered "Because I wanted to hurt you the same you hurt me". At this point, Rizzotto claims he disconnected the microwave for good and pondered what he had done.
There are 2 ways to judge the humanity of an AI:
#1 is by judging its behavior. If it acts human, you treat it as such! This is the approach I was taking.
#2 is by judging the way it thinks. An AI is only human if the way it thinks is indistinguishable from a human.
Rizzotto concludes by saying “maybe A.I.s are meant to be more like imaginary friends” and “maybe it's about whether it's real enough to be real to you.” He then does two very real human things – he directs Twitter readers to his YouTube channel and asks for money on Patreon. Do you suddenly wish he had really gotten into the microwave?
It seems clear from the context that the creator specifically has set the scene for a certain outcome: to show that AI systems had malicious intentions and that it would generate unpredictable results when fed simple dialog as input.
In an interview, AI expert Hans Hansen, the CEO of Brand3D, thinks Rizzotto’s story is real, but his violent biography and diary was the reason Magnetron tried to ‘kill’ him. On the other hand, AI expert Bertha Kgokong, a software developer who makes videos about GPT-3, says the is “100% fake” because OpenAI’s GPT-3 is already pre-trained and not something you can create a new personality for. Hansen thinks society should use the powers of AI for good before it’s beyond regulation.

Do you believe Lucas Rizzotto created a killer microwave from an imaginary friend? If you think it sounds more like a fictional movie plot, Rizzotto is already working on a sequel – a companion microwave with a less violent backstory. A female? We’ll have to wait to find out.

I wouldn't have thought that this could be an excuse in law, even if the sat nav gave erroneous instructions, and if she had been sober. Why would she try to blame the sat nav? That is just an admission of culpability in itself.
