Here's a few older reports from various newspapers, exaggerations or descriptions of deformities, perhaps in some cases, others may be something more...

I'd say the Texans were suffering from the civil war still.

Well, there are a lot of switches that have to work right to crank out a kid.

Sometimes they don't and what comes out doesn't look right.

If it doesn't live that usually indicates a lot went wrong.

Great find Toroid that thing sure is freaky! .... and I have to confess to being a veritable whimp as compared to the guy in the video.... there's no way that I would have even touched the damn thing!! ... I'll go with the 'Sponge' that Karl Shuker suggested. ... Still not touching it though!!

What can I say about this one?... except Eeeek! ...At first I thought that it was a pet gerbil or something in a sock... but it's not is it... it's bloody real!
Well it just goes to prove that you live and learn. Apparently according to the general consensus of opinion, it's an "uncharacteristically-large rat-tailed maggot" .... the true wonder about the creature in the clip is that the rat-tailed maggot usually only grows to about 20mm, and the one in the film looks to be at least 3 or 4 x that size. ... Yuck! wouldn't like any of those little buggers creeping around my porch!! :dtm:

    Cheers Buddy.

Good thread Nivek, the subject matter is something that should be taken as read ... that being that the media have always exaggerated the unusual to sell newspapers to the general public. The Elephant Man springs to mind , and how the publicity of the day was that his condition was the result of his mother being frightened by an elephant when she was pregnant. .. And the Platypus was initially rejected as a fake ... "It was thought that somebody had sewn a duck's beak onto the body of a beaver-like animal. Shaw even took a pair of scissors to the dried skin to check for stitches." ... but of course it turned out to be just another natural weird and wonderful production of this world. of which there are many.
Here's a few that you might or might not already be familiar with ..... 21 More Strange Animals You Didn’t Know Exist

...my favourite on this short list being this little beauty... [IMG]

...reminds me of one of those little 'off-world-findings' that look so cute, and then eats ya! lol... like that cute little "Calvin from the movie Life" that I watched last year!

    Cheers Buddy.

Hi Toroid, hope you are well my friend. ... And i'm afraid that the 'mysterious stalker' in the video seemed so easy to bust that i'm not sure that you haven't posted it with a wide grin on your face.

... Even on the first look at the film, I could see that the 'strange stalker creature' was no more anomalous than a smudge on the windscreen ... and that the apparent movement was caused by subtle movement of the filming apparatus [camera phone etc] ... I believe that this theory is amply corroborated by the accompanying spec of detritus [a few inches above and slightly to the right] of the 'stalker' which makes identical movements.

    Cheers buddy.

Not convinced, it "seems" to disappear behind the vegetation.

But the "object" doesn't seem to flex and moves as a unit which works in favor of your theory.

that can be easily explained by JPEG anomalies, there was a burst of flat earther clouds behind the sun videos a while ago that have a identical explanation
