According to the article they'll be 2,000 federal agents and 10,000 volunteers assisting in security at the Super Bowl. The DHS categorizes it as a level one special event with the highest threat to public safety.
Massive security measures in place for Super Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl LII - Wikipedia
While the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles ready for Sunday's game, law enforcement is preparing for a massive security operation. Nearly 2,000 federal agents are backing up the presence of state and local police in ways you can see – and in ways you cannot.

There is no specific or credible threat to Sunday's game at the U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis. But officials are asking fans to come four hours before kickoff to pass through all the security measures that will be in place.

Boston vs. Philadelphia: a Super Bowl battle for historical supremacy

From inside a Blackhawk helicopter patrolling above the stadium, customs and border patrol agent Michael Fuller explained to CBS News' Jamie Yuccas that a Super Bowl win for him means everyone stays relaxed and has a good time. Fuller's aviation and marine unit is flying six helicopters to keep eyes in the sky around the clock.

"We hope to be there as a deterrent, obviously, and to help everybody feel better, but in the end we need to be prepared just in case it really does happen," Fuller said.

The Super Bowl is categorized by the Department of Homeland Security as a level one special event, meaning it has the highest threat to public safety.

Everywhere there are fans, there is high-profile security. In addition to police in tactical gear with assault rifles, there are armored National Guard Humvees and barriers to protect pedestrians from vehicle attacks. Every car and truck entering the secured zone is x-rayed for explosives and chemical weapons.

Police in a high-tech incident center are looking for trouble on hundreds of cameras both inside and outside the stadium.

"We really need to make sure that as a symbol of our freedom for Americans to get together and enjoy their pastimes we have to make sure that their safety is first and foremost," said Minneapolis police chief Medaria Arradondo.

At least 60 other Minnesota law enforcement agencies are helping the Minneapolis police, along with 10,000 volunteers helping officials keep people safe. As for those fans standing in the cold on game day, the hospital across the street will be available to treat frostbite and any other cold-related injuries.

Follow the money, I place my bet on the Eagles as well, they will win by 3 points...

Belief in the underdog: Four million-dollar bets placed on Eagles in Super Bowl LII

LAS VEGAS -- With a day to go before kickoff, four reported million-dollar bets have already been placed on Super Bowl LII -- all on the underdog Philadelphia Eagles.

A bettor on Friday at William Hill placed a $1 million money-line bet on the Eagles at +155 odds. If Philadelphia pulls the upset over the New England Patriots, the unnamed bettor would net a $1,550,000 profit.

Earlier in the week, William Hill reported taking a $1.6 million bet on the Eagles +4.5 and another $1 million money-line bet on Philadelphia. Last week, MGM's sportsbook reported taking a "multimillion" bet on the Eagles.

The Patriots were 4.5-point favorites over the Eagles on Saturday at most sportsbooks. They opened as high as 6-point favorites two weeks ago, but the majority of the early action, especially the largest bets, have been on the Eagles.

On Friday night at Caesars Palace sportsbooks, 61.4 percent of the point-spread bets and nearly 70 percent of the money that had been wagered was on the Eagles. The action was even more lopsided at William Hill, where 85 percent of the money on the point spread was on Philadelphia.

The largest reported bets on the Patriots were in the six-figure range. MGM vice president of race and sports Jay Rood told ESPN that the largest bet he had taken on the Patriots was a "mid-six-figure" money-line bet.

The sportsbook at the South Point casino also reported taking a six-figure bet on the Patriots.

The Super Bowl LII matchup is set

History:

The Patriots are making a record 10th Super Bowl appearance, no other franchise has reached the game more than eight times. A New England win would also mark the third time a team has won the Super Bowl three times over a four-year stretch, the 1992, '93 and '95 Cowboys did it first, followed by the 2001, '03 and '04 Patriots.

History?

This will be the Eagles' third trip to the Super Bowl, and they're still looking for their first triumph. In fact, long-suffering Philly fans last enjoyed an NFL championship in 1960, six years before the first Super Bowl. Making matters worse, the other three teams in the NFC East have combined for 12 wins on Super Sunday.

No way in hell the Eagles win this game. Patriots are completely healthy and are nearly perfect in sub zero temp games. Eagles are missing there starting QB. Patriots by 14. This will NOT be a close game. I understand you don't like Tom Brady but putting your money against him is foolish.

Aren't they playing in a dome?...

I don't believe Minneapolis is a dome.

Edit. It is a dome. But it doesn't really matter. Eagles stand no chance. Putting money against Tom Brady and the Patriots is wallet suicide.

Two of the patriots losses in the super bowl were to NFC East teams....(NY Giants).....so if anyone is going to beat them it will be the eagles. So if the patriots win its likely that they cheated again.

Please tell me when they ever cheated. Don't say "deflategate" or "spygate" either. Those two are just excuses for whiny ass "fans" who don't know football at all. Patriot haters are literally the biggest bunch of pussies and cry babies in sports. It's pathetic.

Oh look! And uneducated comment! You know how many times I've seen referees congratulate a player? MANY TIMES. People just got their panties in a bunch because they congratulated Tom Brady. NEXT!

Lololol. Really? REALLY?! Because some football's were a little deflated he is a cheater? Aaron Rogers from Green Bay likes his footballs over inflated past the legal limit. Does that make him a cheater? No. Don't be pathetic. Besides, there was absoloutly no proof that Tom deflated football's. It's this thing called cold weather that makes the balls PSI deflate by themselves.

The NFL penalized the patriots for both events so they did break the rules....in other words they cheated.

Sorry if I never liked the patriots since I was a kid in the Midwest and West Coast......but then I haven't liked the eagles for over 40 years either. The last time I liked the eagles Roman Gabriel was their quarterback.

Spygate was ridiculous. You could legally steals signs from the other team so long as the cameraman was in a certain place. Every team did it and more likely every team STILL does it. The Jets were doing it a year before the Patriots, the Patriots called them out on it. Jets were never penalized so the Patriots did the same thing to them the next season. Patriots were penalized. League bias towered the Patriots because they win a lot.

Deflategate was clearly just because Goodell doesn't like the Patriots. Same thing as with Spygate. Several quarterbacks like the footballs at different PSI levels. Rogers and a few others came out after Tom Brady was penalized saying it was ridiculous because they had their footballs either to heavy or to light. Yet they got no suspensions only Brady. If the entire football league comes out and says bullshit because that's exactly was it was it wasn't cheating.

The NFL simply doesn't like the Patriots because they win a lot. Goodell has always hated the Patriots and uses them to make an example out of a brand new rule. I think Goodell and the NFL need to get a hint though, you suspend or penalize the Patriots for non existent fraudulent practices they will come back, use that as fire, play fuck you football, and win Super Bowls.

And on that note. Stop whining. I can see your tears flooding my drive way.
