Tarot Reading

I occasionally look for new decks
I see them as the same thing as remote viewing, only the other way around,
you often know the question, and the cards are the answers,
in remote viewing you don't know the target or question, and then you pull out the answers
although I find it works just as well when I choose cards and I never find out the question either, but someone has to have the question somewhere for it to work.
it is fundamentally a signal to noise issue. not knowing half of what is going on seems to get rid of most the noise.
I have thought about making cards up with various engineering topics. (example: standard cards are not good for figuring out why your car will not start)
that way I can try to reverse engineer or fix things with them.
my real question is how do I get the back of the cards to all look the same so I can't see what they are while choosing, so I finally settled on business cards. I have lots of them from a former work place that are all blank on the back.

I've had my set of cards almost 20 years I think, I haven't used them too terribly much so they're still in great shape, probably about 3 to 5 times a year I've pulled the cards out to use for someone...Once in a while I'll give myself a reading lol...

I once, just for fun, took up a couple of ladies for a tarrot reading. When it came to my turn, tarrot reader got all my current and future predictions wrong, but he was laser sharp when she was predicting about a friend of mine who wasn't present. Practically, as if I was a medium through which she predicted for a person who wasn't even there. It bemused me to no end :)

Obviously, I always wondered what would happen if I went back for another go?

Would you try a remote reading from someone?...

Why not ... I am a curious creature. But, preferably not late in the evening GMT time, because I get really tired and sleepy. Say 7 - 11:59 am EST.

I would say that that woman who gave me the first reading was really accurate in my case, but she had seen something bad happening to me and she probably tried to hide it. Similar to @coubob 's case

Just had one. It surprised the skeptic in me. Go for it

Have you used them?...Are they cards for rune stones or tarot cards?...

...
I haven’t used them in so long. I will need to fish them out and see how they are to be used. They are cards but I forget whether rune stones are to be used in conjunction with them.

Wanna give this one a kick?

I was surprised by my reading. very much so. It hit uncomfortably close to home. Called me out on my own bullshit. Felt like I found out Santa's real and really has been keeping an eye on me. Thank God I didn't grow up hearing about the Krampus.

@nivek generously offered my wife a reading. Hers was more general. I don't think she invested quite as much thought into the question as I did and she doesn't even look at this forum. A skeptic might argue that Nivek's familiarity with me is why my reading was more accurate. Fair enough.

But the cards fell where they did and unless he's some ultra skilled shuffler it's random. The card meanings have common interpretations. Again, the skeptic says finite number of cards + finite number of interpretations + the human desire to talk about themselves (and usually see some special, unique attribute) = a successful Tarot reading some percentage of the time. Yeah, well. I suppose so but in the cold light of day but it sure as hell doesn't feel like that. It feels more like somebody took a peek and Nivek was just the conduit. I didn't share everything with him. And if I am in some sort of communication with him at a weird level then what, did The Great Magnet arrange the cards as he shuffled?

So putting skepticism aside what do you suppose it is he is in contact with? Something that occurred to me recently which I happen to like to hang my hat on is - past life memories. There are a few good ones out there, the UVa Division of Perceptual Studies has documented a lot of them across numerous cultures. Reincarnation, NDEs. If there is an validity to survival beyond death, and by extension reincarnation then I have an idea about what it is he's in contact with. Probably ourselves. For all that to be true then you'd think that all the 'me' that came before that isn't part of this iteration is still somewhere - and I can't think of anyone better suited to have insider knowledge of what I'm up to.

heavy thought for 0609

Perhaps more like hearing and/or feeling a particular vibration or frequency or resonance and being familiar with it and then upon doing the reading listening and/or feeling and tuning in to that resonance...

Familiarity might aid the tuning.

How to put this? I felt like I got a pretty specific reading. When you start thinking about the mechanics of it, if there was a specific message the cards would have to be arranged somehow during the shuffling to reflect it. That's what, 78 cards?
So how far up the chain does the process - whatever it is - actually begin? Or is it predetermined ?

The untuned block of dense matter that is me is having some word salad trying to quantify this.

I think I know what you are asking,

not sure how far back it all goes.
but I can feel cards and where they should be put, so when that happens, it does not matter
it really is just like remote viewing only you know the question and not the answers
the people that don't feel the cards out that way seem to have good results as well, and not entirely sure how that works out as well as it does, but most people seem to know when it is time to stop shuffling the cards, so that is likely how it is working.

I might pick up a set and fiddle.

Your explanation does help. When you think about the actual mechanics involved in the selection of certain cards during the shuffling process it's daunting. the Rhine studies were looking for variations from a statistically probable curve and I'd say Tarot has that in spades (har har) except the interpretations are probably too subjective to be quantified the same way.

I'm intrigued but as I said, I think psychically speaking I'm a bucket of mud.

I think that anyone can be trained,
have you tried reading the government remote viewing training manual ?
I attached it to this post.

@nivek did a tarot session with me as well I am still floored about some particular details he pulled out which are my completely personal and private knowledge. We might be familiar with each other's personalities because we discuss so many different things like I now have more than 1,000 posts on the forum. But all the posts that I wrote never gave a clue about some events on the other side of my life.

If I had more time I would actually love to do some psyhic experiments because this is the second time that in my life that I got amazingly accurate referrence from a psyhic person. There is definitely scientific explanation for this and there is a great similarity with Dr. Hall Puthoff research for Standfor University and CIA. You should look up physicists Russel Tharg and Elisabet Rouscher who wrote a book in which they re-worked QM and GR with complex numbers to prove that when these two branches of physics are explained with complex numbers than this feature of 'one-ness' of the whole uiverse pops-up. But my spare time is reserved for UFOs so I didn't dig into psy research deeper.

Regardless of what detractors say I am pretty sure that CIA was on the right track with Dr. Hall Puthoff's research.

But the fact that we never met and that we live on different sides of the world offer some interesting opportunities for this kind of research.

I'm interested in performing some testing and experiments, the last real experiments (if you want to call it that) I took part in was back in the late 90s...A friend I knew in Ohio and I were researching remote viewing and we tried a few things with some surprising accuracy...He would drive to a location, I would write down what I saw at his location and upon returning we compared notes, we didn't use tarot cards back then...
