People are always asking me if I think the rioting and mayhem will improve Trump's chances or hurt him. I don't know who will win the 2020 election but one thing I will say for sure is that there is not a single undecided voter in the United States. Everyone knows who they are voting for/against.

I am thinking that those voters who sat on the fence in 2016 and didn’t come out to vote will come out in many more numbers. I believe that quite a few voters (Democrats) thought that Trump had no chance. They won’t believe that this time around.

In the 2016 Election I was an 'anyone but Hilary' born again Republican
    - Apparently after 4 years the anyone but Trump group were right.

I've never seen a President come close to hiring and firing top people in the government and
and Cabinet like Trump - Like he was on his TV game show and has flashbacks to saying
    "Your fired" !

Either he makes poor choices to begin with or he just likes hiring and firing people and
making them feel like bums in the process.

Not that I have any great love for Joe Biden and the Liberals
    - But 'to make America great again', as Trump would say,
    - Its time to dump Trump

    I know they say Biden is too old, at least that's what Trump says;

But I think Trump has shown a terrible lack of leadership in the current crisises facing
America. From Covid 19 to the race riots Trump has indeed become 'the great divider
and chief, as Biden would say.

Of course like many Americans I have become unhappy with either political party.
So in the next election I might just vote for Biden for President and then
vote the Republican candidates for congress. I read somewhere that many Americans vote
that way - So in this one sense Trump will get his way - He will keep America divided.

Maybe this country has always been that way
    - But I hardly think this is what Trump meant when he said 'Make America great again'

Trump, as John Bolton has pointed out in his new book, is obsessed with Trump.

Had the economy stayed well he probably would have been re-elected.

But as of now his chances of being reelected are about zero.

List of Trump administration dismissals and resignations

For comprehensiveness, the list below includes, in addition to dismissals and resignations, routine job changes such as promotions (e.g. Gina Haspel from CIA Deputy Director to Director), officials moving to a comparable position (e.g. John F. Kelly from Secretary of Homeland Security to Chief of Staff), and acting or temporary officials being replaced by permanent ones. The list does not include many lower level positions, however, such as that of executive director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, Matthew Doherty, dismissed in November 2019,[11] without a replacement to lead the council that was created in 1987. But some less prominent officials are listed because their departure was newsworthy.

As of May 25, 2020, there have been 415 unique names dismissed and/or resigned.

Of course the popular vote doesn't win an election - The state electoral vote is all that counts.

Again in this election I see no way Trump can win the popular vote
    - But you can be sure his political strategists will again be trying to win the
Electoral college - Then even if he lost by 10 million votes he could still win.

This may be in Trump's favour as West may take votes from Biden lol...

    ...

Kanye West announces bid to challenge Trump for 2020 presidency and bookmakers immediately slash his odds from 500/1 to 50/1 as wife Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk offer their support

Kanye West celebrated Independence Day by revealing his plans on Twitter , tweeting Saturday: 'We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.' The rapper has sparked speculation over the years that he would potentially enter the presidential race one day, most recently in November, when he said he planned to run in 2024. West's announcement was met with with mixed reactions of skepticism and excitement, as online bookmakers cut his odds of winning the election from 500/1 to 50/1. The new odds indicate his implied probability of winning the election has increased from 0.2 percent to two percent. His wife Kim Kardashian and eccentric billionaire Elon Musk were quick to show their support on Twitter.

So Trump's albatross is the coronavirus, something that he should have stopped early in the year and Biden's albatross are the riots and uprising, both are 'genies' they cannot put back in the bottle, in a manner of speaking...Neither of these candidates are suited to handle these crisis, neither one will be able save the countless lives lost as a result...

The country seems doomed no matter who finally becomes president this fall. Neither Biden or Trump will solve the COVID crisis. There isn’t a vaccine yet and nothing on the near horizon. The racial crisis solution seems beyond either of these candidates. I wonder if we as a country will have to sink to the very bottom before we can rise out of this quagmire.

Nancy Pelosi is 80 years old. You would have to think that in the near future one of those women will become the House leader for the Democrats and possibly the Speaker of the House. That doesn’t give me a particularly warm, positive feeling.

Adversity reveals character, it doesn't define it. As whole we have nothing to be proud of.
The blatant media bias and daily need to shriek 'fire' in a crowded theater sickens me.

Remember that old movie Sleeper? We ARE being led by the nose.

I posted this in another thread last night but it's fitting here too...

America is one of the finest and the most powerful ship on the Seven Seas but she's without a captain and adrift at sea with infighting throughout her decks whilst losing to a plague...

Next best US president would be Elon Musk, if he qualifies.

He would definitely make America great again.

Quite honestly I think Elon Musk is a prick and takes a lot of undue credit for "his" inventions but he is a smart bloke. President? No he cannot even run his businesses at a profit. Saying that nor could Trump...

He may have American citizenship but he is South African by birth. If I remember correctly do you not have to be born in the States to run for President?

Wasn't he too patronizing? From a few YouTube videos I watched, I got the impression he was addressin electorate as if they were children.
