That’s certainly one way to avoid a lawsuit. Have the Secret Service turn you away. Is it any wonder that the populace doesn’t trust and basically despises politicians.

What they are doing to your president was decided the day he came to office.

It's quite sad to see such a waste of time and money perusing a perpetrator who is yet to commit an offence.

I agree if he used his power for personal gain then he has to go but as soon as Schiff changed his tune over the whistle blower it became so obvious that who ever it was going to be, bottled it when the transcript was produced. With your speaker holding back like she did is the cherry on top.

    Four more years.

The liberals will not let up on him during his next term either, I think they will be relentlessly hounding him even if the conservatives get the House in the coming elections in November, we need term limits for all those Congressional fools...

Those aren't liberals - they're neoliberals; the corporatized perversion of left-wing values that our right-wing corporate news media outlets (MSNBC, CNN, the NYT, WaPo) have hurled upon gullible people who used to fight for the labor class, pacifism, and equal rights. The neoliberals are really just Reagan-era Republicans who call themselves Democrats and masquerade as populists, when in fact they're the opposite. In reality both parties now serve the billionaire class, and the petty and stupid wars that they wage against one another have nothing to do with interests of the American people...who have no representation in our government at all anymore.

For all the bad things Trump represents he's doing one right thing, he's focusing on economy. Most of other politicians only focus on political intrigues. Democrat's AOC personally destroyed 20,000 jobs before they were to be brought to her Bronx constituency.

It seems so irrational to me to impeach someone late in their term, when it would be so much simpler to beat them at the ballot box.

And I honestly don't know what the accusation that Trump is racist is based on. I don't remember of him being accused of that in the past.

Maybe the weirdest thing is that Trump was actually pretty popular before he got into politics. He was even the star of a "reality" TV show for 14 seasons! - No mean feat! - I wonder if that somehow has something to do with the unhinged hatred of him by Democrats and "Never-Trumper" Republicans.

The similarities with what has happened to our nations are huge and well overdue.

Your man is a shoo in for the next term and just like here I blame the liberals as having done it to themselves for allowing this faction of super liberal power to grow from within, ours was momentum who have come to a grinding halt and rightly so.

I'm not shy to mention that it is obvious what has been going on. Immigration is now being spoken about and what effect it has on ones identity and prospects are real. As you know I don't blame the individual who seeks betterment but I do blame those who permit this to happen unchecked. I heard a very honest member of the tory party who admitted that when the huge influx of Eastern Europeans occurred here, they had no idea that many would come and we're taken aback.

This sort of honesty just wasn't around back then.

Neo Nazi and neo liberals are both facism like factions of the centre right and left. With the left thinking the right reason gives extra licence, always said they would do it to themselves and here we are.

The hero who doesn't step back, in time is bound to become the villain.

Yup. On this end people like Trump and Bernie Sanders are symptoms of the larger problem; all that high morality hypocritical insanity finally did it. I read somewhere recently about the nature of Bernie's appeal, saying that those who vote for him are well aware his plans aren't practical or even that he'd be elected but he has personality and a message that resonates. Same for Trump in many respects.

I remember the evening of the 2016 election where we saw the Obamas and Clintons in Philadelphia on stage fake smiling and fake pointing and looking fake as hell. Joe Biden does this quite a bit. Fakery with extra disingenuous sauce. Polished and packaged and divorced from reality. All politicians lie - but this particular flavor is going out of style.

At some point the historians will have a field day with all this.

I agree very much with that, it's had its day and showed us all what we can and cannot stomach. There would have been no room or need for Trump if the liberal had remained more centered I'm sure of.

It was a runaway train of fakeness that drowned out the voice of the people who didn't want to get on board and they were never heard like they should have been.

This political time will be viewed I think as a push back and hopefully will serve as a reminder to not just listen to those who shout the loudest.

    Good times.

At the last State Of The Union address President Trump offered the liberal Democrats a choice, to continue with the bs investigations, or to be a part of the effort to build the USA economy...If they had choosen the latter they would actually have something to run on this time around, but alas here we are, and their actions will give the President four more years and show the country more of their true scales...

I absolutely agree that the impeachment process will give trump 4 more years. further most Republicans call trump's actions inappropriate. they could have worked together to craft a censor. not a impeachment but a rebuke. this could have passed with bipartisan support and the whole thing would be dead.
Further I feel that the chief justice was denigrated by both sides.
    Tonight's election prediction.

Most people equate impeachment with removal and forget that Clinton got censured. Got disbarred and fined too. I doubt the fine was a problem for him. That was one expensive valve job.

Generally I'd agree with your prediction but I believe that the DNC will be required to anoint Biden even if he's visibly slipping a gear or two, which he is. I just can't see them getting behind Commisar Sanders or taking Warren seriously. Very few people do, so why should they?

Delayed results from Iowa because of ‘quality control’ ?

Clearing foreign meddling at work. My money’s on the Fijians or maybe Eskimos. They’re awfully quiet and no one would suspect them. Bastards. I’m calling CNN ....

I have no doubt that Bernie trounced the competition in Iowa, and the Democratic Party is rigging the results to hobble his candidacy, just like they did in the 2016 primary. Look at these numbers:

"And Emerson’s telephone poll — the most recent of these three, taken from January 30 to February 2 — found Sanders to be the favorite, with 28 percent support; Biden trailed him with 21 percent. Buttigieg and Warren were again nearly tied, with 15 and 14 percent support, respectively, and Klobuchar was fifth, with 11 percent."
Who is going to win the 2020 Iowa caucuses, according to the polls

Joe Biden kisses granddaughter on lips during Iowa rally
    upload_2020-2-4_8-12-0.jpeg
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden gave his 19-year-old granddaughter a kiss on the lips during a campaign rally in Iowa on Sunday, prompting some grossed-out responses on social media.

The former vice president entered the event at Clarke University in Dubuque holding the hand of Finnegan Biden, the daughter of his son Hunter.

“I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Finnegan Biden. The reason I asked Finnegan — grandfathers are always allowed to embarrass their granddaughters — that goes along with the territory,” said Biden, 77, his hand over her shoulder. “Her other grandma graduated from Clarke College in the mid-’60s and talks about it all the time.”

He then described the difference between daughters and granddaughters to the crowd as he walked around the stage before circling back to Finnegan.

“But granddaughters not only love their grandpops but they like them. And that’s the great thing. Thank you, baby,” he said before giving her a quick peck on the lips.

She later joined her grandfather as he waded into the crowd, where he greeted supporters with hugs and posed for selfies.

“Nobody” posting on Twitter linked to a photo of the smooch and noted: “This is Biden with his granddaughter. I can’t unsee it so now you have to.”

Diante Johnson, president of the Black Conservative Federation, said: “No man should EVER kiss his granddaughter like such … This is a weird family. Who’s running this man’s campaign??”

But Beth Bourdon had a different take.

“i would like a man to kiss me the way joe biden kisses his granddaughter,” she wrote online.

Biden has been criticized for his handsy behavior with young women before. Weeks before he launched his campaign last spring, seven women came forward to say his behavior made them feel uncomfortable.

They spoke out after Lucy Flores, a former Nevada legislator, accused Biden of holding her shoulders and smelling her hair during a political event in 2014.

Following those accusations, Biden pledged to “be more mindful” of women’s personal space.

“Social norms have begun to change, they’ve shifted and the boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset,” Biden said in a video last April. “I get it.

“I hear what they’re saying, I understand it and I’ll be much more mindful.”

The Biden campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
