The Antilife Equation.

It's a question we have all asked ourselves so many times, It doesn't really necessitate repeating, Are we alone in the universe?, Does Earth really contain all life in the cosmos? It's more than just a curiosity, or some desire to diplomatically take an extraterrestrial to Mcdonalds and see if they like chicken nuggets.

No,

We have an urge, A need to know that We are not alone, That We weren't born from random chaos, That life here, for us, has meaning, Some assurance that, That we exist because we were meant to be...
But Beyond the philosophical hole in the wall, we still search for the answers, beyond the pale.

There are a lot of reasons to consider the possibility of Extraterrestrial life within our cosmos.

Firstly, Contrary to what some people would site, A beliefe in Extraterrestrial life is not the laugh riot is once was even in the media. Many well-respected astrophysicists have come forward over the years expressing Not just A bold curiosity about alien life, But even issue stern warnings about how or If we should even interact with our space brothers once we find them.

Here is one of the countless Articles I could post, Renowned physicist Stephen hawking Warns against contacting Alien life siting the possible dangers an outside threat such as extraterrestrials could bring to the table.

Stephen Hawking Warns the World Against Contacting Aliens

There are some things to consider here, concerning the Scientific community and their willingness to expend absorbant budgets on the Quest for ETs. If I have you up to this point, I thank you, Here I will list some examples, Of why this Phenomenon is taken so seriously by so many large organizations that are willing to pay top dollar to obtain a peice of the stars.

Seti

The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute was founded by Carl Sagan and Jill Tarter, two astronomers who believe there's more to interplanetary life than us. SETI's mission is "to explore, understand, and explain the origin and nature of life in the universe and the evolution of intelligence." The Institute works with NASA and the National Science Foundation (NSF) as a research contractor to pool resources and explore the possibility of intelligent life on other planets.

Very educated highly study minded people Are all willing to spend vast amounts of money to find the cause of our crowded skies, Even the Pentagon has taken action on this issue.

The pentagon

In 2007, the Department of Defense (DoD) created a program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) to study "space-related phenomena that could not be easily explained, usually involving the appearance of high-speed, unidentified aircraft," per New York magazine's intelligencer. The covert program was headed by military intelligence official Luis Elizondo, who sought to investigate reports of UFO encounters. A decade later, Elizondo quit working at the Pentagon and confirmed AATIPS's existence to the new york times.

The U.S Navy Encounters,

This recently declassified footage of a Navy jet encountering a UFO was captured in 2004 and released in 2018. In the video, pilots can be heard excitedly asking, "What is that thing?" as the rapidly moving object is on screen for a few moments.

Commander David Fravor and Lieutenant Commander Jim Slaight were on a training mission over the Pacific off the coast of San Diego when they witnessed a UFO that was "40 feet long and oval in shape"
Fravor told the New York Times the object was "jumping around erratically, staying over [a] wave disturbance but not moving in any specific direction." When Fravor tried to get a closer look at the UFO, it sped away at a speed the likes of which he had never seen. The craft was never identified and Fravor insisted he didn't see any kind of wings or rotors, making it that much more impressive that it was able to outrun his F-18 Hornet jet.

And these are just a few examples, Did you know Nasa as of october 2019 has confirmed over 4,073 exoplanets. These are planets within their stars goldilocks zone, They are perfect nesting pots for life to form.

But you know, With all this said, There are still two sides to every story. The earth could it be the only place in this vast cosmos to support life?, And If that is the case if we truly alone here. It's an infinite void of nothing versus us, The only living part of a dead universe, An anti-life equation, As it were.

I prefer the version in which we aren't alone, but you know, some people need a lot of room to breath I guess. So, Is the Universe Crowded with life? or are we such a unique and rare oddity that life only occurred here, In this one tiny spot in all the universe?

Nice article Shadow.

But you and I both know, we are not alone. Earth is rare and beautiful, and its location on the outer rim makes it easy access to visitors from other rare and beautiful worlds.

Our Planet is a library (or zoo) of life from all across this galaxy. Our DNA contains the entire history of this galaxy and is a biological bibliography and collection of that.

We are mostly visited by students and scientists, and occasional tourists.
Perhaps, even our curious ancestors.

Oh, I agree totally, We aren't alone, But, When I write those articles like this one, I try to leave any kind of opinion or conclusion out, I think they taught me that back in college, I can't remember where I picked it up, But, If I throw a lot of bias in there it becomes an opinion piece after that, For some reason They told us to avoid making opinion pieces as they were less professional by default. I think I picked that up in college, but at the same time, I owe a lot to an old website I used to work at, Dcemu They taught me a lot about posting articles too.

But yes, I've even had experiences before, We aren't alone, Yet, I can't professionally say that in an article though because it changes the topic drastically when I do.
