Saint Germain may have been alive for thousands of years. In a book I read it was suggested he had a conversation with Jesus and was at the Council of Nicaea.

I read up on him many years ago because his name would come up now and then in relation to esoteric matters but most who have seriously looked into him think he was a normal man albeit a very clever one (possibly the son of a nobleman) who managed to 'con' many people in Europe back in the day into thinking he was special.
