What forum is this? Did you use the same name at Alienhub?
I had always kept my same identity and I believe so did Xeno.
Let us just say that Xeno and myself just do not get on.
Others may love him to bits...which they do.
However.....Xeno is Xeno and I can tolerate him as half alien up to a point, but when that half alien becomes a moderator...let us just say we just do not get on, but Xeno a self admitted troubled man and before he can control others, he needs to control himself and having a list of psychiatric problems under psychiatric care does not help me get on with him.
Let us not speak of the ills of Xeno as I wish him luck on his forum as the owner is a really nice guy!
Nor let us dig him up as better the dead lay buried.
I get that......so what forum is Xeno a moderator on? I don't remember a Georgek at Alienhub.
WOT! You don't believe me!!
We are twins...only I am slightly better looking....lol
(where has he gone?....if he sees my avatar...I will end up in his farm! The famous singing pig may even end up in bread rolls)
The pig came about when a member remarked that the Irish have a saying:- "If a pig could sing, it would be easier to accept"
Xeno has gone to the land of fantasy where abductees drill holes in flying saucers and sell them on ebay for billions of dollars. He is happy and has found peace.
Let the dead lie.
I would not like some to find me here, as one of things that I had read about myself, after saying that i was leaving was that they are out to get me. When they cannot hurt you on their forum for not agreeing with them, their aim is to try and find you, as to get others to hurt you.
Xeno deserves his privacy and whatever I may think of him, is between him and myself .
I am not saying where he is, as it is unfair.
Well.....you can see that he is highly loved and I wish him well.
I got to the point of breaking with Xeno and I just had enough how he got back to this Earth after escaping from Area 51 and how he became some kind of government agent who escaped the clutches of UFO investigators as to hide there.
Well...I had to laugh or take him seriously.
So I decided to laugh and he began threatening me with his power of moderating.
I think at one point I asked:- "What the bloody heck are you on about?"after reading 75 pages in one post.
I know that I write a lot ...but it was a bit like watching Gettysburg on TV and falling asleep wondering where the hell I left off!
Tried walking way, but he was always there asking questions to a point where I said:- "JOKE...JOKE...Xeno...just a joke"
Thanks.....lol....I'll ask someone else.....
Seriously though...you do see my point?
I am not sure what others may think of Xeno, but we just did not get on too well.
Hate to think that I am the one behind, as to allow others to 'have a go at him'
Why should anyone be interested in Xeno for a serious discussion is beyond me.
However, there are a some who 'love him to bits' for what ever reason.
I did have a strange curiosity for Xeno because he is fairly intelligent.
It created more of a confusion for me because he actually believed in what he was telling everyone.
Really...I wanted to understand him.
I focused on him as a subject and picked up an ailment from his waist down, so I politely asked him if he was in pain?
maybe I should not?
He remarked by saying that he was not going to answer my question because he had already written about himself and if I wanted to know, that I should regress into his notes.
He had written over 2000 of them....and I had his whole bleeding library to go back to for a simple 'yes' or 'no'
Then he writes the equivalent of a full book in jut one post, explaining about his life from a child in multiples of a dozen pages at a time. I did however read his chapters and found a part where he was having a great deal of pain from the waist down and was seeing his doctor after being sick many times.
I suppose on reflection, I was being personal, but he came across as an odd kind of person and I wanted to focus on him as a psychic because I did not understand why he thought he was an alien from Area 51.
My final opinion of him was not of the highest as I thought if people make these extraordinary suppositions, then they are going to create a lot of uncertainty and it is only understandable that those reading a post, have to go on the contents of that discussion.
Then when he started going on about having treatment for schizophrenia and having clobbered a policeman it discredited many points he had raised. Especially at one point when he contemplated suicide.
It showed to me an unbalanced nature and a person highly strung with uncertain tendencies needing psychiatric treatment as a self confessed patient.
When that person becomes a moderator, it is time for me to leave. The prospects of writing posts in the future and to have them either deleted or have me banned was something that I was not prepared to waste my time on.
Most of the posts on that forum were darn right stupid as most wanted to take the p*ss out the subject.
Problems were being created by inviting the general public their say without being members.
You got all kinds of riff-raff and half the time you did not know who you were writing to?
As mentioned, the owner was a very nice chap who was educated and interesting but felt that everyone should be able to have their say and invited them in.
Xeno was like a kid with a gun in his hand a lethal combination.
I am not slagging Xeno off, in actual fact I like him in a way. Probably because he is different? Just have no respect and cannot get on with him.
Screenshot taken 5 mins ago?
to replace the its gone forever?
It accepted my password reset request, I logged in, I has my old Avatar and tag, nothing else up and running though? Interesting.
Was it 'Stingray' that had the slogan of:- "Anything can happen in the next ten minutes!"
Reviving the dead or getting these old piston firing again can have grave consequences.
Does anyone know what forum Xeno is moderator of?
Pet Cemetery is a good example...
I was able to login too, but there's no content or member information.
I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen King once at Dillons Book Shop in Nottingham.
I had no idea who he was except that he may have been a shop assistant?
There were some Mechanical Science books on the top shelf that I needed for course work back in 1995. I recollect straining to reach the top shelf whilst this geek looking like Jess Conrad was studying me as he was idling his time away behind a desk.
I smiled across and dropped a hint that many a folk had fallen asleep in that chair.
He looked me up and down, and said:- "Go ask one of the assistants"
So I thought:- "It will be a heart attack being behind that desk all day, watching the world go by"
Anyway, leaving the store, I noticed a big advert in the store's window.
'Stephen King signing his new book today' with a picture of him!!!
If I knew it was him, I would have given him some inspiration for his next book.
(the way he was looking at me though, seemed like he had already got it!)
For some reason, I am reminded of the one time I had dealings with the Connecticut DMV.
…...that's nice.....I had some too. There are mountains in Colorado...…
So the Connecticut DMV has a forum that Xeno moderates.
The forum is about UFOs and conspiracies like this one......not the CTDMV.
I was commenting on the difficulty you are having in trying to get a simple question answered.
I've been looking into it occasionally. This is what I found so far.
What happened to Alien-Hub? It also used to be called Alien-UFOs.com. It was mysteriously shut down one day. If you visit the site now, there's only a description of what it used to be. http://alien-ufos.com/ (UPDATE: Description has been removed., and page has been modified several times since)
Screenshot obtained via Internet Archive. You may see some old faces
The name change might be a clue. It appears around 2010 'Alien-UFOs.com' received an influx of members who left 'Alien-Hub' Then years later.., 'Alien-UFOs.com' changes it's name to 'Alien-Hub' and is shut down
We are now seeing 'Alien-hub' refugees slowly find each other on other websites like 'Alien-Expanse'. It might be interesting to track down some of these members who joined 'Alien-UFOs' around 2010, and ask them about the history of 'Alien-hub' Now if you go to either Alienhub.com or Alien-UFOs.com they just have the same blank screen. (UPDATE: They now have a simple login page/text field)
This is a screenshot from Alien-UFOs before it was taken over by Alien-HUB.
It shows new members introducing themselves as 'ex-hubbers' etc.
It appears the owners of Alien-hub.com have elected to remove themselves from the internet archive. It was accessible around 1 month ago (how I got screenshots) with a range of dates to choose from. Now nothing at all. Apparently the exclusions are at the choice of site owners or due to take-down notices. https://webapps.stackexchange.com/questi...rchive-org
