The only thing remarkable about Harry and Meghan is their connection to the Royal Family.

Now that they have burned bridges with the Royal Family, it is becoming apparent to members of the public who used to admire them, as well as to the streaming companies who have showered them with millions of dollars, that they simply do not having anything to offer. They have no special gifts or expertise. Meghan was an actress whose greatest claim to fame before being Harry's girlfriend (and then wife) was a supporting role in a TV drama which was not widely watched, already at a fairly advanced stage in her career. Harry was not clever enough to go to university, despite being educated at Eton College and having had all sorts of private tutoring.

Those who used to admire the couple probably do not even know why they ever did as it cannot be due to anything they have done, and it was likely just the power of media suggestion. The reason for their fame as a couple is that media elements on both sides of the Atlantic who are hostile to the British monarchy saw them as a weapon against it. They are now a spent force, as the brief period in which Meghan was associated with the Royal Family recedes further into the past, and she has nothing substantial to say except to continually rehash the same dubious stories of victimhood, all from a multi-million dollar mansion and to a much less well-off public who have real problems to deal with in the worsening economic situation.

I have Netflix provided free through my cellular service T-mobile and I saw their show on the list on the Netflix homepage however I declined to even take a peek of it...I don't want to add to their viewer numbers, besides, after reading the many reviews I've lost what little curiosity I had...Harry is a tool and Meghan has lost all touch with reality IMO...I think there may be a time when Harry will regret the path he choose with that pathetic woman, too little too late...

Just a vague actress and a fallen prince: The world media's withering verdict on Harry and Meghan's new Netflix documentary

(Excerpts)

Laurent Sagalovitsch, of French online magazine Slate, described the Sussexes as ‘nothing but a vague actress and a fallen prince, both united behind the idea of selling to the highest bidder the story of their undying vacuousness’.

He also questioned why we ‘have to put up with the endless tale of these lovebirds whose intellectual horizons, if they exist, are limited to what font to use on Instagram’.

In the US, Daniel D’Addario, of Variety magazine, said: ‘The Sussexes surprise us yet again with just how narrow their vision of their fame is, how pinched and unimaginative their presence on the world stage has become.’

Harry and Meghan are told to stay AWAY from King Charles's coronation: Political and military grandees warn couple they could face public BOOS at May's event after Netflix bombshells

Royal grandees have suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (centre and right) should stay away from King Charles III’s coronation (left) next year following the fallout of their incendiary Netflix series. One former cabinet minister said the couple ‘categorically should not be’ at Westminster Abbey for the coronation next May. Almost half of Britons said that Harry and Meghan should be stripped of their royal titles following the explosive Netflix series. Forty four per cent of those asked for The Mail On Sunday poll said they should no longer be able to style themselves as royal and forty two per cent believed Harry should be removed from the line of succession. The next episodes of the Netflix documentary, which critics have panned, will be released on Thursday.

Harry and Meghan fire new attacks at William and the Royal Family in explosive trailer for Netflix series as they say they were victims of 'institutional gaslighting'

Prince Harry today astonishingly accused the Palace of 'lying to protect my brother' and claimed he and Meghan were the victims of 'institutional gaslighting' in his most incendiary attacks on the Royal Family yet. Appearing on a new trailer for their Netflix series, the Duke, 38, abandoned all pretence at restraint as he namechecked Prince William, 40, and took aim at unnamed people who he accused of deliberately misleading the public. 'They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,' he said. Today's trailer also saw Harry say, 'I wonder what would have happened to us if we hadn't got out when we did', before Meghan, 41, added: 'I wasn't being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves'.

The main problem is that William not Harry will be king one day. Harry can’t stand that thought so he whines constantly about it., Megan was a “B” actress on a little watched TV program. She wants to be as popular as Princess Diana once was. They both live the life style most people can only dream of. One day the house of cards will come tumbling down for these two.

Samantha Markle says Meghan and Harry's Netflix documentary is '$100m fake news PR machine' and says the Duchess's grandma would be 'rolling over in her grave' at claims that the royal cared for her

The half-sister of the Duchess of Sussex has described Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new Netflix docuseries as a '$100 million fake news PR machine' and said their grandma 'would be rolling over in her grave' at claims that her royal sibling had cared for her. Samantha Markle has fired back against her estranged royal sibling in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News this week, after the explosive series highlighted tensions between the family members. In the series, Meghan is heard fondly recalling time spent with Queen Elizabeth II commenting on how 'grateful' she was to have a 'grandmother figure' after caring for her own grandmother 'in her final years.'

European green energy fiasco is a terrifying warning for US this winter

Europe’s climate-consciousness is hardly paying off for European families who face startling energy blackouts this winter amid a dangerous energy crisis. The energy shortage is largely due to an over reliance on solar and wind generated power made worse by Europe’s 2015 Paris Climate Accord agreement, which mandated the closing of coal-fired power plants and replacing them with less reliable wind and solar power alternatives.

There is no doubt that unpredictable energy sources such as these cause unnecessary suffering, financial strain and even illness among the most vulnerable. Americans should take heed from Europe’s misguided energy strategy and misplaced reliance on wind and solar power, or else watch many regions of the United States endure lengthy power shortages.

As the colder months roll in, Europe could soon face temporary cuts in cell phone and internet service, school closures from a lack of lighting and heating and even traffic jams from underpowered traffic lights. In Germany, a country heavily dependent on Russian gas due to its shuttered nuclear power plants, candle sales have skyrocketed in anticipation of power blackouts. In fact, electric car owners in Finland are being told not to heat their vehicles on frigid mornings to avoid straining the electrical grid.

In the United Kingdom, energy companies have made a game of saving energy during peak usage times by bribing participants to sit in the dark in exchange for prizes and monetary savings. The message from the UK is clear: you might suffer this winter, but you will suffer with a savings and a smile. The truth is that alternative energy sources proposed by Europe are far from a smart investment for families suffering from low energy production.

When it comes to relying on wind power, sometimes the wind just doesn’t blow. Europe experienced this phenomenon in 2021 when a drastic reduction in wind caused a decrease in energy generation by wind turbines. Just recently, wind power production in the UK fell from 28% of overall energy production to just 3%.

Due to a lack of wind power, the UK’s reliance on coal for energy outperformed wind and solar even though the country has nearly banned its coal production entirely. The reliability of coal is so obvious that the nation is beginning to reinvest in coal mines to keep the plants open for business. Still, it’s doubtful such reinvestment will spur an uptick in reliable energy in time to protect its citizens from frigid winter temperatures.

Solar energy, on the other hand, has proven to be just as unpredictable in its output, despite Europe’s aggressive commitment to the source. Since Russia cut gas supplies after Europe’s sanctions over the war in Ukraine, there has been a sharp increase in demand for natural gas, forcing prices to rise higher and higher as a result. But this is a bad omen for elderly, lower-income Europeans ill-equipped to deal with the consequences of supply chain issues.

Ordinarily, Europe sees an increase in winter deaths but over 100,000 Europeans could die from high energy prices this winter, according to a study by The Economist magazine. If each country experiences its coldest winter since 2000, the death toll could rise to 185,000. But even if the temperatures remain at usual levels, 147,000 more people could die from cold-related illnesses than if the electricity costs stayed at 2015-2019 averages.

In the United States, European-style energy policies likewise cause tragic consequences with little benefit to Americans. Due to the Biden administration’s inflationary policies, U.S. electricity prices have more than doubled. Oil and natural gas prices have done the same. Hundreds of people in Texas died in February 2021 after frozen wind turbines triggered blackouts. Meanwhile, the administration plans to replace fossil fuel power with wind and solar by wrapping up $369 billion in climate spending in the Inflation Reduction Act.

If energy policymakers don’t stop soon, they risk turning the United States into a European "green" energy nightmare. That’s the last thing Americans want or deserve. Congressional leaders on both sides of the political aisle should take heed of the clear European warning signs before it’s too late and American citizens are left in the dark.

Meghan Markle is branded a 'narcissist' akin to Sam Bankman-Fried, Kanye West, Donald Trump and Elizabeth Holmes in new Politico story which claims Americans are tiring of her behavior

Meghan Markle is branded a 'narcissist' akin to Bankman-Fried, Kanye, Trump

A writer for Politico has called Meghan Markle a 'narcissist' akin to the likes of Donald Trump, Kanye West, Elizabeth Holmes and Sam Bankman-Fried in a year-end story. The piece, titled '2022 Is The Year We All Finally Got Tired of the Narcissists,' suggest that, for the likes of Markle, in 2022: 'Some of them got their comeuppance and some of them got worse: our disinterest.' Writer Joanna Weiss noted that she's drawn to the likes of Markle and Prince Harry, but that the couple's Netflix documentary 'Harry and Meghan' turned her against them.

What these two nitwits forgot was that Americans held a high regard for Queen Elizabeth II. When they began to bad rap the Queen that turned off quite a few people. Also, how bad can you have it living in an $11 million mansion. No one likes whining rich people.

A tale of two VERY different 'commoners': How Princess Mary learnt a new language, changed religion, and became one of the most photographed women in the world... but has NEVER complained

They both left their lives as 'commoners' to marry into a foreign royal family. Yet the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, 41, and Princess Mary of Denmark, 50, couldn't be more different.

While Australian-born Mary, formerly Mary Donaldson, embraced her new royal title after relocating to Denmark, Meghan has burned all bridges with Britain's monarchy for good.

As Meghan continues to throw barbs at The Firm in her latest Netflix docuseries, we take a look at how Mary set the gold standard for life as a modern princess.

Born in Tasmania, Mary met Frederik of Denmark by chance at a Sydney pub in 2000.

They maintained a long-distance relationship for a year, with Frederik making secret trips Down Under before Mary moved to Denmark to study the Danish language at Copenhagen's Studieskolen in 2001.

The couple married in 2004 and now have four children.

Mary's decision to marry a Danish royal came with its own challenges: she had to relinquish her Australian citizenship and change religion from Presbyterianism to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Denmark.

Mary also had to learn a new language and familiarise herself with Danish history and culture, as well as cope with the challenges of going from a nobody to one of the most talked-about women in the world.

Yet Mary did so without a word of complaint to the media - something Meghan has failed to achieve.

Mary, who will one day become the Queen of Denmark, has always steered clear of scandal.

Over the years, she has refused to speak negatively about others to the media and maintained a dignified silence amid controversies such as Queen Margrethe II of Denmark's recent royal title scandal.

Meghan, on the other hand, was reluctant to accept the expectations that come with marrying a prince.

Since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020, Meghan has clung to the spotlight by taking endless public swipes at The Firm and the British press.

She has also complained at length about dealing with the British press, despite having plenty of experience with fame prior to becoming a Duchess.

Media was quite the savvy media operator prior to meeting Harry, maintaining friendships with British WAGS and tabloid journalists like Piers Morgan.

In contrast, Mary had no experience with the press prior to becoming a royal.

'I'm sure Mary looks at what Meghan has done and is horrified by it,' royal expert Phil Dampier told New Idea in 2020.

'Mary is dedicated to her role supporting Queen Margrethe and she must feel Harry and Meghan have let down Queen Elizabeth.

'If Mary had "done a Meghan" it would be like [her] marrying Frederik, and then within two years luring him back to Australia where they met and taking him away from his family and destiny,' Dampier added.

In Meghan and Harry's new Netflix documentary, for which they were reportedly paid $100million, the American-born duchess complained at length about what a shock it was to join the Royal Family.

Meghan, who was brought up as a Christian, was baptised into the Church of England before she married Harry, but reportedly didn't have to be.

'I would like to get my father and brother back': Harry says royals 'have shown no willingness to reconcile' and want to keep him and Meghan as the 'villains' in publicity blitz before memoir release

The Duke of Sussex has sat down with broadcasters Tom Bradby in the UK and Anderson Cooper in the US - with trailers for each dropping today. Speaking to Bradby in a clip where no questions are heard, Harry says 'It never needed to be this way' and refers to 'the leaking and the planting' before adding 'I want a family, not an institution'. He also says 'they feel as though it is better to keep us somehow as the villains' and that 'they have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile', although it is unclear who he refers to.

Mandela's granddaughter accuses Harry and Meghan of 'stealing' the anti-apartheid icon's words in Netflix show 'to make millions' - and says she doesn't believe the Sussexes 'ever properly met' him

Ndileka Mandela, 57, has slammed the Sussexes over their Netflix documentary Live To Lead, where the couple use footage of the anti-apartheid campaigner leaving prison in 1990. Harry says in the trailer for their latest film, part of their $100million (£83million) deal with the streaming giant: 'This was inspired by Nelson Mandela'. Ndileka has said she is angry that the couple appear to compare their own battles with the Royal Family and life with her grandfather's long walk to freedom, calling it 'upsetting and tedious'. She said: 'That's chalk and cheese, there is no comparison. I know the Nelson Mandela Foundation has supported the initiative but people have stolen grandfather's quotes for years and have used his legacy because they know his name sells - Harry and Meghan are no different from them'.
