The shadow knows!
I watched the holiday special.
I am sorry I did.
Jodi is a good actresses. But she comes off as smug and arrogant.
She acts like her time in a jail was nothing.
The whole dalek plot line was weak.
And never since Dodo left have I felt that a companions exit was shoehorned on.
Doctor who is dead it's buried and Jodi can't leave fast enough.

They don't get it.
The fans decrying the show as too PC have been lost – and it’s a loss that should not be mourned. But the show has many loyal progressive fans, too.

They're happy to lose the "bad" fans. But now they are afraid of losing the "good" fans.

How about writing entertaining, non-agenda driven shows? Cable, social media, and the Internet in general abound in political, moral, and social opinions and messages of every conceivable variety. Many, and I suspect, most, people like to escape from that on a daily basis.

Decades ago, the the outlets for philosophical and ethical expression were much more constricted. Accordingly, Rod Serling and Gene Roddenberry had to be sly about conveying such messages. But those days are long gone. Yet it's almost as if many writers and producers still imagine themselves to be battling to get across a message that would otherwise not be heard.

Chris Chibnall was the worst choice to take the show after Steve Moffat and Jodie Whittaker has the same mindset as Chibnall in that neither one gives a shyte about the history and richness of past seasons...They were intent on recreating Doctor Who in their image and we see the result of that ignorance, a great show ruined in a way it never has before...Then there's the fact that changing an established show's lead character from a man to a woman for the sake of social justice totally destroys the show...Doctor Who was dead to me ever since Jodie took the role as the Doctor, she has little to no talent and her acting is of herself, not the role she is supposed to play, if you're going to change the lead role from a man to a woman at least puck a woman who has acting abilities...

I admit I haven’t watched Doctor Who in quite awhile. Since when did the Doctor become a PC crusader? I am showing my age. My favorite Doctor was Tom Baker and a couple of Doctors after that. When I saw that they made Matt Smith the Doctor I thought they must be joking. Ahhh, the good old days.

Since the 13th Doctor (the woman), the other incarnations of the Doctor previous to her abomination were good, especially David Tennant as the 10th Doctor which was brilliant IMO...

Matt Smith wasn't too bad, a bit young but he grew into the part well enough...His first few episodes showed he was a newbie but he matured well as he went along...

Female Dr Who's are a bummer , it needs another Rose Tyler ( Billie Piper ) and Dr Who ( Christopher Eccleston) .

When DT left it was a big blow DT was the doctor. Only Tom Baker was better.
Matt Smith was decent. And Peter capaldi was ok. My friends call Jodi "doctor Karen."
