49 to 28. Blue moo defeated the red rage.
Killer Kate of the red scored 5 points.
Darling Debbie of the blue scored 8.
The twins now have a decision. do one more year of jr derby or at 17 hit the wreckers (MRD training team)
both want to continue. the rivalry between the two is focused on derby.
Rikki is supporting them. I will as well.
As long as they dont pick up more potty mouth lol

It is a bad dress, that is why she wants it badly.

As a side note - is that actually a dress??? I wasn't sure what it was.

Brian asked me for permission to have Debbie send Easter dinner with him and his family. I agreed.
And so for the first time my whole family will not be at the holiday meal.
The fledgling has left the coop.
I am happy she is taking the 1st steps. to being an adult.

Respect The SPRING. Left thumb swollen and stiff as a board. Not broken because I do take safety precautions.

Almost has a big honking coil spring right where I needed it and that bastard popped loose and administered a correction for wrong behavior on my part.

ouch. will have to grow a new thumb and try this again.

I had a 71 Olds 442 that had a 3 inch crack in the frame behind the drivers front control arm where the frame flares out to the side under the door, anyhow i had to change frames myself. i did it with two A frames. I`ve seen springs fly out of cars like that, wouldnt want to be in front of them. safety precautions are a must, hope ur hand will be better soon. The first two knuckles on each of my hands has been broke a couple of times, a real pain in the ass at times rolling cigs and joints.

    :)

Yeah, I took a few loops of a thick come along strap around the spring and frame so when it came loose it didn't go far. After that adventure I cleaned up and iced my hand by wrapping it around a few very cold beers. It isn't broken but it's about as much use as a wooden peg right now.

Always wanted to learn to weld, but even if I knew how I don't have anything that actually needs welding. I've thought about the local trade school classes but they are pricey and this is just a passing interest. My brother will be out for a visit this summer and he can probably get me started with something harbor-freight-ish if I develop a more urgent need. He's also going to show me how to properly flare steel brake and fuel lines.

This morning Kate asked us to host Angie and her mother. Seems Angies mom is going through a messy Divorce
They kicked out her dad and need a place to go for a bit just to get away from the drama.
so Rikki and I will open our home to them for a bit. looks like a week tops while they move.

    Left thumb still useless.

So I carefully considered my options, looked at the angles, did the math. Much chin scratching, harrrumphing.

Then I went and got a big f*****g hammer and a hunk to 4x4 post and wailed on that bastard until it did what I commanded that it must. Swine spring. Resistance is futile.

A woman from Los Angeles who was a tree hugging, liberal Democrat and an anti-hunter purchased a piece of timberland near Colville, WA . There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree.

As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.

In considerable pain, she hurried to a local ER to see a doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist, a Democrat, and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go wait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her.

She sat and waited three hours before the doctor re-appeared.The angry woman demanded, "What took you so long?"

He smiled and then told her, "Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a 'recreational area' so close to a Waste Treatment Facility.

And I'm sorry, but due to Obama-Care they turned you down.

Today, my day off, i managed to give our 16yr old lab a bath, mowed the yard and pruned the magnolia`s and rose of sharon`s in a fenceline. ended up with what looks to be two pickup loads of limbs. Finally able to smoke a fatty and chill out.
