It all started with the twins getting their clothes mixed up. For identical twins they have different taste. This started a rare fight between them. As the day wore on my boys became unruly and Curt both using language I don't appreciate. Especially Chris my 9 year old. He stole out right something that belongs to his brother. A loud crash the boys getting into it.. meanwhile my youngest girl was beaned in the head with a thrown toy.
This indeed lead to a "jolly good smacked bottom." I was at wits end Rikki also was getting upset. Hopefully this whole thing calms down today..

I cleaned it along with.. well my pooch was not being kind...today the twins are reorganizing and the boys are still fighting but calm is slowly returning.

I was smoking some pork ends the other day, and making hush puppies on the side at the same time. I explained to my grand-kids that hush puppies were first made in the South to keep the hunting dawgs
out of the pork. They like that story a lot.

I don't want to show anyone the messes my new puppy has been making. Couch cushions shredded and sticks brought in from outside and chewed to pieces, all the stuffed toys have been eviserated, with stuffing everywhere. She is getting better but I just dropped off the car for repairs and when I got back the old dogs cushion was shredded. I was only gone 30 minutes.

Well, what a day. I normally try not to go down the mountain to town more than twice a month.
But sometimes I have to. I decided to eat a quick lunch at Taco Bell, because I was in the Bank anyway.
The Bank tells me that the $600 Corona check that I received Friday, at last, will not be good for 60 days.
The Feds refuse to deposit it in foreign accounts, the mail is slow, and the check needs to go back to the
States and then get credited. The other $1200 check never got to me, and the IRS says I will get
a credit on my next tax return. Sure.
So I go to Tack Bell because they have a deal. My Bank told me in an email that anything on the
menu is 40% off if I use Master Card or Visa, this month. I step up to the counter to order.
And the girl that works the counter shows me a tiny menu with only eight items on it when I
point to my Master Card and start to order. I try to make her understand that I was told it
was for any item on the whole menu - but then I remembered from the last time I went
down the mountain - she is stone deaf.
I asked for the manager - and told him that the girl was trying her best, but what kind of
fresh hell is it when lip readers have to read your lips behind a freaking Covid Mask, and
what's up with the click bait offer of 40% off?
Anyway, long story short, I ordered by pointing out what I wanted to the lady, who is
really nice. I hope one day they will switch her from cashier to order fulfilling - where
she won't have to figure out what the hell is going on with these covered lips.

I wanted to give you all an update since I haven't been around much in the past 3 weeks... I have actually been in and out of the hospital for the past three weeks the third visit to the hospital they kept me and this is my third day now in a hospital room...
Early on when this began it was discovered I had multiple Black Widow bites which put me down because of the amount of toxins...They isolated that problem and resolved it...
However a persistent but random high fever kept hitting me constantly, random meaning it will hit me anytime day or night no pattern and to a point where I had to be taken to the hospital in the ambulance...They have been running a multitude of tests these last 3 days find out what's causing the high fever and blood work is pointing towards a inflammation and infection somewhere in my body but they don't know where it's at yet...
So here I am stuck in the hospital until the doctors figure this out and resolve the problem...

My family also has several sick. Rikki and my oldest. Covid test negitve. Both are recovering.
My youngest boy goes back to school on Monday

They still haven't found the source of the cycles of fever and accompanying symptoms however its been way less severe than it had been, I'm feeling better and eating solid food again...I hope they discharge me soon so I can go home...

On the mend from multiple black widow bites are not words I thought I would be using but in the circumstances they could be worse. I've only ever had one proper fever with horrifying hallucinations of size and faces. I had a fear with proportion and faces swooping from both top corners of my vision. It was my mellow grandmother's face so I guess that could of been worse too.
Hope home is on the horizon today nivek.

I'm packing my cooped up frustrated family up and heading to see the grand parents.
It's been a bit since grandma burus got out of the hospital.
This visit will be a tonic for the kids and her.
After a chaotic week where even our dog misbehaved Rikki and I need the time as well.
