Yeah, I've heard trees can sometimes temporarily go into shock and stop producing.

A true day of rest today for me, this past week was extremely busy and very taxing physically, all good work but gave me quite a workout that I'm taking the day today to rejuvenate and recharge...Its been a wet rainy day today as well, a steady soaker type of rain from a tropical storm passing through...Its easier for me to take a snooze during the day when it's raining lol...

13 hours straight of sleep yesterday and I just put another ten in the bank. Sometimes I just stop, like a Martian War Machine. One minute fine and the next off. Need it.

We had an apple tree for a while - was told it needed some sort of spray, maintenance for it to produce. Didn't bother. I'm lazy and live next to an orchard.

I tend to go for long periods of time without getting the proper rest. 2021 has been a dark time for the Rebellion around here: rare for me to sleep more than 2-3 hours without being up for some reason. A 'night's sleep' for me usually turns out to be a series of naps. Makes you bugf**k nuts after a while. Eventually I just switch off and it feels very, very good if it leaves me a little foggy. Like now.

Me too. I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with me it's been happening so often lately. Maybe it's a covid survivor thing? I had a 5 hour nap yesterday. Woke up at 7pm. Went back to bed at 10pm and woke up a 6:24am.

For me it's a combination of lifelong habit and lately stress by the freight train load.

An awesome father's day! Camping with the family. I received many gifts from a simple drawing by Samantha to Debbie giving me a surprise gift card for a high end men's shop!

They say it takes at least 2 to 3 weeks for your body to fully adjust to a major change in the weather. Here where I live we've been experiencing the first really hot humid weather of the season. I've definitely been feeling the fatigue.

Trees like cherry, apricot, peach, plum all need a second tree for pollination or they won't bear fruit. If your neighbor is close enough and has one of those trees and you have one you will both get fruit.

My cherry tree bloomed early then we had two bad freezes so it only had 2 cherries on it. I left them for the birds. The same happened to the apricot tree but it has seven apricots that I hope will ripen.

I had jury duty this week. Sat through a few hours of voir dire (how is that spelled?) and it was an awful case. I didn't get chosen, thank goodness. The attorneys asked the weirdest hypothetical questions - if .... how would you decide on guilt, or if a policeman said it was a blizzard outside when we all know it is a sunny hot day would you decide his testimony is invalid because you hate cops....

Working on a set of metal shelves, reinforcing it and putting casters on it. Hacksaw, files, drills and grinders. Time consuming. Probably have to get a drill bit sharpener. And some more ibuprofen.

    From my daughter Kate's FB.
    "On the bus to work:
"Hey miss. Hey miss. Hey miss!"
    "Yes?"
"YOU'RE VERY BEAUTIFUL. YOU LOOK VERY NICE. YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!"
    "Thank you. Uh. Thanks."
"You're beautiful! I'm just giving you a compliment, OK??"
    "Yeah ok thanks".
    "Hey! You got a MAN?!".
    "No I'm a lesbain I don't need a man."
"OK well you are gorgeous ".
*I stop responding after a bit*
Comes up to me and sees my penticle necklace and says:
"OOO YOU'RE A BAD GIRL. I LIKE BAD GIRLS!!! I BET YOU (cencored)
    I get off bus. "
I'm so angry at least this creep did not go as far as the one that got on her sister..

Yes, I hate it when that happens. Maybe it's her age, but she was a lot kinder than I am when some stranger tells me I'm beautiful.

The only reason he was so bold with your daughter is because she is so young. The coward.

I would have turned to face him, leaned in and in a loud sarcastic voice said, "What makes you think I give a flying fiddlers fart what makes YOU happy?"

I remember one time standing outside of my downtown building where I worked having a smoke break. I was 37 years old, at the time. Some guy in a truck calls out and beckons me to come over. I thought he wanted directions, I got asked quite often for directions. He says, "You are so beautiful. You are strikingly beautiful." at this point he must have noticed the displeased look on my face because he then says, "Can I say that, is that allowed?" With a look of disgust on my face, I responded in an angry voice saying, "No. It's creepy. Still think I'm beautiful?" I didn't even wait for his response. I just turned and walked away.

My twin daughters Kate and Debbie are 18. She told me she had pity for the creep. That he was so desperate to hit on a random girl on a metro bus.
She told me she wished her GF was there to see it all. At least this guy knew some boundaries.

Boundaries can be further defined by having a fistful of car keys jammed into an eye socket
