These ones don't live in your kitchen they live in the trees.

Did you notice the guy is doing the Vulcan "Live long and prosper" sign. LOL

So, I'm guessing since these are being held that they are not prone to biting people?

No, no biting they are harmless ( the coackroaches) the spiders can bite if you get them agro they are also a protected species by Government decree. They usually live under the bark on the trees in the forests but some end up on the firewood logs I get. I just let them go. The spiders get into the cracks in the logs and when you bring the logs inside and they feel the warmth they come out and invade your house. They seem to have a thing about light switches as I have more than once found something soft and furry sitting on the switch when I go to turn the light on at night.

I will never, ever, go to Australia.

I do my best to stay out of British Columbia too.

Walk anywhere in British Columbia and you’ll be less than a metre from a spider. With more than 700 known species in the province, arachnids are everywhere, from mountaintops to intertidal zones. These eight-leggers are endlessly diverse and surprising—from the jumping spiders that dance to impress prospective mates, to the wily crab spiders that disguise themselves as flowers.

Day4. Still no sleep. Pretty sure it won't be any time today after all this spider talk.

We do have a spider thread to keep these crawly things in...I'm not one to talk about spiders much, I leave them be and they leave me be...lol

Did you check out what spacecase0 suggested to help sleep?..

Kobi isn't going to be too happy, he doesn't like me going out at night, leaving him at home...lol

I just spent 3 hours in the mall parking lot with a trunk load of groceries waiting for a tow truck.

The ETS (enhanced traction system) is off so the car wouldn't start. :mad8:

See what I mean, Nivek. Ya can't make this kind of shit up.

I haven't slept in 4 days, I am still having major nic fits and I had to sit in a parking lot at 28C and wait for a efing tow truck.

If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have none at all and it's been this way for 5 years now. I really could use a break. Probably shouldn't say that. Watch I'll break a bone or something else cause I said that. :ohmy8:
