last night Rikki told me that Brian was studying with Deb in our den and wanted to see me. I went and asked what's up. Deb jokingly said "Shay,s rebellion." after a brief discussion on it I was impressed with how much he knew on the subject. He then said "happy birthday Mr Watson." and handed me three books . "Deb told me you liked this stuff." I was more than surprised I been looking for "Hostage"
    for a while! 20180912_093122.jpg

As a mother I watch carefully what my kids do online. I was surprised to learn both my Teenage girls had spent $160! I was more surprised for what and why!
Both had bought a pair of white high boots in this style
    4ahtf8-l-610x610-white+boots-ariana+grande-patent+leather-high+heels-tall+boots.jpg
and why do they want to wear these? " because its the style, everyone wears them!" They became popular because I found out someone I thought retired is wearing them. brigreg1.jpg

And why spend $19.99 at walmart when you can get the ones SHE wears for $160! Seems my husband and I must continue our instruction on buying things on a budget.
    Blessed be
    Rikki

To add to my wife's comment. We put the stomp on buying outfits by Miss Spears. We won't have them spending money and, looking like a tramp.

Three nights ago i seen something weird in the sky i had been dark for about 30 mins. It looked to be near the shawnee twin lakes (WSW from me) and low on horizon, it looked like a bright light searching around dimming fading out than brightening back up again, but it was dead stationary in the sky,not moving a bit and it didnt have any other lights as a helicopter/plane would have. See at first i thought it was a planet, till it started fading in and out, there was no clouds that night at all.
Two nights ago i seen it again, only higher up and further away doing the same thing, a bright light searching around dimming fading out than brightening back up again totally stationary. Still no aviation lights. I watched for a while till it stopped and went back inside.
Last night i seen it again, doing the same thing but this time it was near 25 degrees above the horizon. What is strange is that i heard across the street behind the house off in the creek what was a bad mimic of a owl, its sound was to deep and bellowed. and i have heard bigfoot around so i dont know , but bout the time the light in the sky dissipated for good i caught a glimps standing next to my porch was a very tall 8 feet+ ghost or a cloaked bigfoot.i said hello and went in.. seemed to me to be a light prism effect around it from the street light and not like a ghost at all , i have always thought there is no way in hell a species can do that, one that hangs out in the woods all the freakin time right. any how it freaked me out for a bit than i was exhilarated and amazed but still freaked out. so i dont know what the hell now, what the heck was the in the sky the last few nights that i seen, so i went in and played ufc 2 to get my mind off it. i think i`ve just lost it.

I have a neat little free app called SkyView Lite on my smartphone that I wave at odd lights in the sky and it's been very helpful. Couldn't hurt, right?

Around here we have foxes and coyotes that make damned weird noises. Red foxes can let out a 'bad imitation of an owl' that you would never expect - makes my skin crawl when I'm out with the dog and its dark.

But if it is a Bigfoot, toss a few apples out there and lock & load :)

I`ve been meaning to get a new phone, My tracfone is junk. And apps like that is what id like. As of foxes and coyotes there is some rather long legged foxes living off down there. I was telling a cop about seeing it and how long legged and tall it was and he verified that there is indeed or was a family of them down there. I`ve seen a cougar twice once a few blocks away and the other was on top of my detached garage. And deer with there young walking right down the street pretty as ya please.once i counted 8 oh and a 12pt buck on thanksgiving morning, lol Thing is with the bigfoot i have heard woodknocks, a screaming howl, samurai chatter at the neighbors trashbin, around here also, i told a local reseacher( i forget who he was with) but in a week he got back with me saying a yardsman at a Buford White lumber a bit further down the rr tracks had seen one june 2017, the same time i heard the chatter. But i`m like really? i live in the middle of a pop 35,000.. one things fur sure a better phone is in order for the camera and even the microphone.and what ever came up next to the porch i`ll say it was an eyelash, although my instinct at the time i knew what the hell it was.

I hear you - sometimes you just see or hear something weird and the logical part of your brain has it figured out but your adrenal glands haven't. Kind of fun though. Why not go poke around where the noises came from during the day and look for scat, broken branches, prints? Maybe there is something out there. One time my dogs were absolutely terrified out back at night and dragged me back inside - and we live in a neighborhood not out in the sticks. Turned out it was a bear and her two cubs wandering around. Yikes!

We have a storage shed out back that's like a Motel 8 - everything comes there to live, breed and die. Put a camera trap on it once and couldn't believe the traffic. A beautiful red fox spent some time there and had two kits - which I think were male. They had a fugly brindle coat and were much larger, you might even say long legged. And they do let out a hellish screech.

There's all sorts of things flying about in the sky tonight...I just walked out back with my canine buddy and the cloud cover broke, can see the sunset and its light in the sky...Also little specks of light and larger lights flying all over the place in the distance all around in the openings in the clouds...Of course most if not all are airplanes of some sort, but jeez, so many tonight...

Today Rikki and I were called to attend a high school Pep rally for "an major event." Rikki was busy so I went.
It was the standard high school Pep rally heading into homecoming.
Deb looked like she was having a blast..
then the big thing. the boys and girls basketball team.
Kate was on the team! but..
    she was a bench player.
on our way out her assistant coach stopped us. "you want a challenge? you want to start? Nov 4th we play west. you go out there earn your spot. no freshman ever started. prove me wrong! I saw you I saw your heart. I saw you want this. earn it!"
Kate said two words "Challenge accepted."
