No, I'm sorry but that is not correct. For some odd reason, Americans and especially young adults and children in America and other countries, place a high value upon stars and Hollywood in general. So they are the defacto role models that our kids watch and take clues from. And no, we can not screen them from this all the time, unless we take them out of society all together, (which is not a bad suggestion).
And just to remind you - these Socialists are bringing this into our public schools now - and to our
workplace. So no, we can no longer ignore it. In fact, attempting to ignore it, to be soft and say
OK to all of this nonsense is what got us into the position we are now in.

Only because no one is giving the young a different option. Take responsibility for your young and give them better choices. (get rid of the television if you have to). Programming started as soon as it was normal for people to have radios in their homes, and television was an even better tool. The only excuse for allowing it is that you prefer being a zombie or programmed sheep. Making excuses like "Americans and especially young adults and children..." doesn't cut it. The way you talk you are thinking this is only going on in the U.S. but look around a bit more and you will see it is rampant all over the world.

Yes, I am aware that it is worldwide, since I live in Costa Rica. I have thought about it quite a bit, but decided that it is perhaps best to allow them to see it, but talk to them about it. Allow them to decide as they mature. Otherwise, they will fit into the world of a recluse, as I have, but perhaps that is not the fair way to mold them towards a lifestyle that does not allow them to fit in with the world as it is. I certainly don't have the answers.

Hi JahaRa, ... How do you mean "Why do I care???" ?... the answer to that is obviously I care because it matters to me, which leads on to your rather strange statement ... that it has nothing to do with me!
... Erm! excuse me, but "how on Earth has the way that a minority of 'woke-tsars' that have incrementally grafted their way into positions of power in the world's top media echelons over the past few years, decades or even a century, and are presently in such a powerful position that they are now evidently so firmly entrenched into the fabric of real influencing circles to the point that they have such a stronghold on world wide opinion direction that has effectively taken away the basic rights of alternate opinion and free thought to the rest of the planet's inhabitants Got nothing to do with me?"
Do I not have the right to express my concerns about the way that this unnatural stupidity is going to affect the world that my children and grandchildren are to inherit when I shuffle off this mortal coil? ... am I to just sit silently shaking my head and watch this unbelievable folly play out in silence?.. knowing that through the lack of mass intervention from those whom you assert have no mandate to speak up to warn that our descendants will have to suffer the shambolic effects that this appalling direction is inevitably going to glean. ? ... or is it simply that you are of the opinion that a child's natural development that has served so well since the beginning of evolution is ripe for a bit of 'woke intervention'? .. and there's nothing wrong with 'the trendy wokefolk' deciding which sexuality that their children should have? ... conditioning a boy to 'identify' as a girl, or a girl to 'identify' as a boy . All for the sake of gaining the positive approval of the all-powerful woke-sodden-media that can make or break them at will! ... never mind the damage that this is doing to their publicity-displays. [the precious and fragile children that they are supposed to protect from the world's bullshit.]
... So to your questions of why I care? and What it's got to do with me? ... Look JahaRa, i'm a middle aged man that adores children of all ages, sizes , colours and localities , and DO CARE about the physical and mental welfare of those kids in the picture [which I have since checked out and confirmed to be real] and the reason that it has something to do with me is the same reason that it has something to do with anyone that cares in the slightest for the well-being of children in general! ... and of course you are entitled to a differing opinion, but for me personally... I will not be cowered into silence by anyone and will always call a spade a spade as I see it, and that includes publicly condemning a bunch of celebrities that are trying to out-woke everyone at the expense of natures number one wonderment, which is the natural development of a child!!

Nothing personal mate.... but if you accept this as 'normal' or even just 'inevitable' then your just wrong.

    Cheers.

@1963 how does it affect your life that some famous/infamous people are treating their children differently than you treat yours? What laws have changed because those idiotic people dress their children the way they do or let them change their gender? My opinion is that no one should be allowed to change the gender of a child, it should be a decision a person makes when they are an adult. But even if it is allowed, how does it affect you personally?

I agree completely, 1963. Children are our future, even if they are not our children. We're all in this together and we will all pay the price if we screw up these kids. Already we're seeing results now that the children from the "fragile" generation are in their 20's and 30's. Anxiety and depression are significantly higher for them and they are quickly becoming the fattest, most unhealthy generation of the modern era.

There was more than one time that Penelope Pussycat got the better of Pepe. Pepe called her "my little butterball " once to often.

So here's the deal. They are trying to control the population - which in that sense means "us" not them. They can have as many kids as they want, but once they have our labor, they no longer need as much of "us", since they plan of introducing AI anyway, and we are just in the way of their leisure activities. So they promote vaccines, which might help, and they promote and pay for a culture that celebrates anything other than the traditional family - since that will also cut down on the population to some extent.
At what point do we say, enough? And put an end to this nonsense?

No, the deal is they are trying to control their student population, not you or me. You can waste energy and emotion about this if you want and give others reason to agree with them or you can just shrug it off and look closer to home for what ever evidence of being controlled you are looking for. The fact that it is not even coming from a NYC news source makes it questionable.

If most people I know were paying that much a year for schooling their children and they got an instruction memo on what words to use and not use, they would pull their money and their students out of that school. Especially something this silly. And by the way, it is not a rule book, it is a memo suggesting certain wording be replaced with other wording.

Here is a more local news source, and still it is limited to this one PRIVATE school.

NYC School Pushes Students To Stop Saying ‘Mom,’ ‘Dad,’ ‘Parents,’ Referring To People By Gender

If your position is as you state here, why does it bother you so much what other people think about this school?

I don't care what other people think about this school. I was addressing your invalid comment that what that school does is somehow controlling you.
