Parents' fury as $41,000-a-year American School in London teaches there are '64 genders' and 'stands by its woke agenda' despite being told it 'requires improvement' in damming report

Parents are furious at the £32,650-a-year American School in London for allegedly teaching their children there are ‘64 genders’ and standing by its 'woke agenda' despite a damming Ofsted report.

The school watchdog downgraded the private day school from 'outstanding' to 'requires improvement', saying there were 'failures' in education and leadership after it placed more weight on teaching 'social justice' than on learning 'subject-specific knowledge and skills'.

Interim head at ASL Sacha McVean defended the school to parents saying its programmes had the backing of schools leaders and the watchdog's inspection was 'unusual'. Over 100 parents, who signed a letter to Ms McVean, were shocked that the private school is standing by its 'woke' agenda in light of the ‘devastating rebuke’ according to the Times.

Meanwhile some pupils told Ofsted their views were 'suppressed' in lessons. Because of this, the school failed a number of Independent School Standards, which ban the 'promotion of partisan political views' and demand 'respect for those with other beliefs'.

One parent told the Times: 'The tone of the school's email was not well received at all. It came across as defiant and unapologetic. 'Parents were shocked to see that the school was standing by its programmes.'

There are also allegations from parents that pupils were taught the Olympic transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard should compete in female competitions in PE classes and there were 64 genders in health classes.

So now, certain movies can only receive positive reviews? On the one hand, this is not good. But unfortunately I have the cynical suspicion that many reviews/reviewers are insincere.

When you click "Users Reviews" on IMDB it always goes immediately to the so-called "Prolific Reviewers." Most of them love this movie. But when you switch to "Most Helpful," there are a torrent of negative opinions.

Despite everything, it is not a movie I would ever consider watching, especially since I don't have kids.

Police are forced to protect conservative debater at Yale Law FREE SPEECH event from woke students shouting 'I'll fight you b*tch': Victim warns 'future of legal profession in America is in dire straits'

Nearly 120 Yale Law School students revolted during a free speech debate last week because they didn't like conservative panelist Kristen Waggoner, and were angered at the presence of a progressive humanist who'd agreed to a debate. The students screamed profanities at Waggoner, including one who threatened they would 'literally fight you, b***h'. They also chanted 'protect trans kids' and 'shame, shame' throughout the law school building after police officers escorted the speakers out of the building. After exiting the event they began to stomp, shout, clap, sing and pound on the hall walls. The protesters alleged their actions were execution of free speech despite the fact that they violated university policies regarding free speech.

PETA urges NFL to call audible on term 'horse-collar tackle'

On Wednesday, PETA said in a news release the NFL should change the name of the "horse-collar tackle" penalty which the animal-rights organization said "makes light of using tight harnesses to exploit horses for labor."

"Words matter, and the term ‘horse-collar tackle’ trivializes an old-style contraption that exploits horses for labor," PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said in a news release. "You could score a touchdown for horses by instead converting it to the ‘Goodell Grab’ or ‘back-collar tackle,’ as neither of these terms normalizes animal abuse."

To me, inasmuch as the maneuver is banned, the NFL is not making light of the name, rather the opposite. At the same time, I am open to reconsidering my stance should any respectable horses complain.

Wisconsin county supervisor wants Pledge of Allegiance and the word 'prayer' REMOVED from board meetings because they are 'divisive'

A Wisconsin county supervisor wants to eliminate the Pledge of Allegiance from county board meetings, claiming the recitation is 'divisive.' Heidi Wegleitner has proposed removing the pledge as well as the word 'prayer' from the board rules, which are currently undergoing a biannual redraft.

The Dane County Board's executive committee will consider Wegleitner’s proposal at a meeting Thursday, although newly elected supervisors would have the final say following the April 5 election. 'It just doesn’t feel like it's appropriate for us to be doing, when in a pluralistic society we want to be inclusive and representative,' Wegleitner told Madison.com. 'At the end of the day, I think it’s divisive.'

Wegleitner said she looked into which area governmental bodies recite the pledge at the start of meetings and found inconsistencies, the Wisconsin State Journal reported. Municipalities that do not have the pledge on their agendas include Madison and Waunakee, she said. Other municipalities, such as Fitchburg, Sun Prairie and Verona, include it, according to those cities' agendas.

Wegleitner drew parallels between refusing to say the pledge to professional athletes taking the knee during the national anthem. 'There’s other ways to show community and shared values,' Wegleitner said.

Superficially, fighting against divisiveness may sound nice. But in reality most ant-divisive proposals and policies literally generate divisiveness themselves. And beyond that, the very ideal of total unity is terrifying and totalitarian in spirit.

Overpopulation often leads to competition for resources and damage to the environment, conflict, disease and death. Only those strong enough and ruthless enough survive to breed. This is why they carefully monitor various populations and issue appropriate numbers of hunting permits. To the Woke it's savagery but in reality it's as positive as forest fires are. Tough to see that when your home is going up in flames but true.

My last name isn't Himmler so I'm not suggesting we do this to ourselves, just drawing the parallel. Conflict and destruction is a normal condition for humans, we need all this **** to survive. It's how we became the dominant species on the planet. Even if we completely wipe each other out in a massive thermonuclear haze Mother Gaia will heal right up and be off to something else and we'll be lost to the ages. Maybe in a few million years the next contestants will do better.

The idea that any country would consider using nuclear arms against another country seems like utter madness. If you fire a weapon at me, I will fire my nuclear warhead at you. It’s only going to take a few missiles to wipe the whole planet out.

I watched a video of some nuclear expert commenting on a war. Once you commence firing on each other all sorts of things come into play. You fry everyone and you pollute the atmosphere for many years. You might have a few survivors who are sent back to the stone ages. You won’t wish to be a survivor.

I hope calmer heads try and prevent a nuclear confrontation in the Ukrainian war.

Individual initiative is absolutely not a desirable quality in HD management and this packet of information was created and sent to the store for a specific reason. The real question is who created it and why?

Some schmuck who didn't know any better just got it in the mail and hung it on the wall like all the other propaganda.

Home Depot ripped for shaming employees over 'white privilege'

Home Depot hammered for shaming employees for their ‘white privilege’ By Ariel Zilber March 23, 2022 12:13pm
A Canadian branch of Home Depot sparked outrage after it posted a notice to employees about the benefits of “white privilege” and included a checklist for those who are “white, male, Christian, cisgender, able-bodied, and heterosexual.”

The notice, which is titled “Leading Practices — Unpacking privilege,” was posted in an employee lounge at a Home Depot in Calgary, Alberta.

A spokeswoman from Home Depot’s US headquarters confirmed to The Post that the white privilege notice was material from its Canadian division. She said it hadn’t been approved by the company’s diversity and inclusion department. The flyer had a Home Depot logo at the top.

The Canadian staffers who were apparently given the learning material were encouraged to acknowledge “societal privileges that benefit white people beyond what is commonly experienced by people of colour under the same social, political, and economic circumstances.”

Workers at the Home Depot branch were also urged to discuss their “white privilege” while being told that “the word ‘white’ creates discomfort — especially when individuals are not used to being defined or described by their race.”

Hoping to celebrate Christmas? The flyer says: “If you can expect time off from work to celebrate your religious holidays, you have Christian privilege.”

Staffers were also told in the notice that “if you’re confident the police exist to protect you, you have white privilege.”

People were asked to check a box determining what “privileges” they had. The choices were: white, male, class, Christian, cisgender, able-bodied and heterosexual.

It’s not clear if the packet of information was simply informational, or if it was part of a group learning exercise — or if Canadian employees had to actually fill out the privilege forms and turn them in to management. The US spokeswoman for Home Depot told The Post that the information was not officially sanctioned as “part of any required companywide training.”

The spokeswoman didn’t immediately say whether the information had been discontinued in its Canadian division.

In a statement to The Post, the spokeswoman said: “While we fully support diversity across our company, this material was not created or approved by our corporate diversity, equity and inclusion department. This was a resource in our Canadian division and not part of any required programming.”

Some of the packet’s privilege warnings:

  • “If while growing up, college was an expectation of you, not a dream, you have class privilege.”
  • “If you can use public bathrooms without stares, fear or anxiety, you have cisgender privilege.”
  • “If you don’t have to worry about how to get into a store, you have able-bodied privilege.”
  • “If you don’t have to explain that your spouse is of the same gender, you have heterosexual privilege.”
The company does not require that the content of the notice be taught as part of its diversity and inclusion initiative, a source familiar with the matter told The Post.

Some conservatives and free speech advocates have denounced attempts by companies and colleges to impose “woke” indoctrination.

“Imagine how messed up people have to be before a major corporation decides to post this and their break room,” one user said on Twitter. Still, others said they thought it was “amazing” that Home Depot was addressing white privilege and other issues.

Scottish pupils will be taught the Loch Ness monster is anti-Scottish because its legend was a creation of the British class system that portrayed Scotland as 'primitive'

To many, it’s a fun fairytale to lure tourists; to others, it’s a genuine mystery – or just a silly hoax. But to woke education chiefs, the Loch Ness Monster is a potent symbol of England’s domination of Scotland – a theory which will now be taught in schools.

Pupils north of the border are to be told how the mythical beast reinforces negative stereotypes and ingrains bias about the Scots. Schoolchildren will be taught how the class structure had a role in the creation of the legend, and how stories surrounding the creature relate to debate on Scottish Independence and even the Cold War.

But campaigners last night criticised the classes as ‘nationalist, anti-British propaganda’ aimed at ‘brainwashing’ pupils. Said to be a picture of the the head and neck of Nessie. This famous photo was taken in 1934 by a vacationing London surgeon, Robert K. Wilson, in Loch Ness, Scotland.

The remarkable claims about Nessie come in a 17-page social studies lesson plan to help secondary school teachers teach what the monster’s portrayal in films says about Scotland’s image and how it affects ‘wider contemporary topics, such as the Independence Referendum’.

The material aims to help 11-to-14- year-olds ‘recognise persuasion and bias’ and asserts that the monster was ‘designed as a tourist attraction to appeal to the motoring middle classes’ during the Depression.

Washington state school district will encourage teachers to consider students' race when dishing out punishments: Critics say new policy will result in harsher punishments for white students

A school district in Washington state has passed a new policy that critics say encourages administrators to factor in race when disciplining students.

The Clover Park School District board approved the new policy on a 3-2 vote on March 14, over the objections of board members who expressed concerns that it was ill-conceived.

The district in the suburbs of Tacoma will now use 'culturally responsive discipline' that encourages school staff to impose disciplinary policies that 'may be adapted to individual student needs in a culturally responsive manner.'

Critics say the new approach is in effect a race-based disciplinary policy that will encourage harsher or lighter punishments based on a student's race, with white students being disciplined more severely.

But the district insists that it is following a state law passed in 2021 that compels districts to 'align with Cultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion standards.'
