Kayla Lemieux, a Manufacturing Technology teacher at a school in Ontario, has been pictured online taking classes while wearing the prosthetics, which stretch her clothing and stick out prominently. Ms Lemieux, who began transitioning from being male to a female a year ago, has gone viral online after students took photos and videos of the teacher, seemingly without her knowledge. In response, the high school has doubled down and defended their employee, writing to parents and explaining why they support Ms Lemieux's gender expression, Reduxx reports.
A diversity and inclusion training by the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado instructs cadets to use words that "include all genders" and to refrain from saying things like "mom" and "dad." The slide presentation titled, "Diversity & Inclusion: What it is, why we care, & what we can do," advises cadets to use "person-centered" and gender-neutral language when describing individuals.
"Some families are headed by single parents, grandparents, foster parents, two moms, two dads, etc.: consider ‘parent or caregiver’ instead of ‘mom and dad,'" the presentation states. "Use words that include all genders: ‘Folks’ or ‘Y’all’ instead of ‘guys’; ‘partner’ vs. ‘boyfriend or girlfriend. "Not ‘Colorblind’ or ‘I don’t see color,’ but Color Conscious," it adds. "We see Color/Patterns AND VALUE people for their uniqueness."
MCCAIN: You may be surprised to learn that if you chose to go to the movies this weekend and saw the horror film 'Smile' instead of the romantic comedy 'Bros,' you're a very bad person. In fact, you're a bigot. You hate gay people. At least that's according to Billy Eichner, the writer, producer, and star of 'Bros,' which tells the story of two gay men, who fall in love. It seems a bit self-serving but let's hear Billy out. Despite a $22 million production budget, an estimated $30 to $40 million promotional machine, Eichner appearing on every imaginable media platform and largely positive reviews from critics, 'Bros' only managed to take in a measly $4.8 million on its opening weekend. Long story short it bombed. Eichner's lashed out on Twitter by blasting America's moviegoers for failing to recognize his genius and, of course, for being hateful monsters.
This is why gun owning rights are sacrosanct. Liberals just don't get it because they are too naive. Once you loose those rights politicians will force to eat from your own toilet bow. In UK guns are forbidden, yet every single month in a row police confiscates 400 firearms from criminals. Bad guys in UK are armed to the teeth, but media is deliberately filtering that info out.
Damn. Maybe that's how our grandparents and great-grandparents felt during the Depression. The frustration is palpable though - I can't imagine.
Thing is, you cross a certain line and anything can happen. My general point about invading Ukraine. Justification doesn't account for all the unknowable consequences. Yes, if someone had a heart attack I'd consider her guilty of some degree of manslaughter.
COVID-19 relief funds from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan (ARP) went to a transgender dance studio in San Francisco that teaches breathing exercises to people of color who are sick of "White people’s bulls---" and "founding father f---boys," among other activities.
The ARP Act, which Democrats passed in March 2021 without any Republican support, was billed by the Democratic Party as an economic necessity for getting the country through the COVID-19 pandemic. Economists on both sides of the political aisle have blamed the $1.9 trillion ARP for overheating the economy and contributing to the current inflation crisis.
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), which received $135 million in ARP funds, awarded grants to hundreds of organizations "to help with recovery and reopening," the NEA said in January. According to NEA records, a $150,000 ARP grant was awarded to "Fresh Meat Productions (aka Sean Dorsey Dance)" in January "to support personnel expenses in response to and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic."
Fresh Meat Productions offers a free "Stay Fresh at Home" video series on its website but states that "all these artists have been paid for their amazing work." One of the videos, conducted by J Mase III, a self-described "Black/Trans/queer poet" and the author of the book, "White Folks Be Trippin,'" includes a breathing exercise meant for "Black, Brown and Indigenous folks" who "still have to deal with White people’s bullshit."
"So what I wanted to create for this video is some space for us to deal with our own healing, create our own protective barriers against White people’s bullshit, and just have a place for joy," Mase says in the video posted in 2020. "So take a deep breath in of your healing, take a deep breath out of White supremacist bullshit. Take a deep breath in of your ancestral wisdom, take a deep breath out of founding father fuckboys."
