It appears Gene has a personal value placed upon the shows and isn't going to part with it at a reasonable price...I agree with Randall's suggestion...

The Paracast has value, just not what GS thinks it is. I can’t imagine what a fair price would be but giving him money is contradictive.

Apparently not. I just saw this thread today, and went to look. I'm not surprised Gene's price is unrealistic. I really think he should give it away, since it's likely to be yet another trove of interesting and useful stuff to slip beneath the waves shortly after he passes.
