Maybe someone will get definitive proof one day about it all. It might just be you. Who knows.
what & be proved wrong do you mean???
yeah fekin right i would!!
i say i'll never win a vast amount of cash on the lottery== i'd love to be wrong.. what great thing to be wrong about.. seriously, why do you think i'm here?
See ya Noj.
What is your opinion on this account. I am sure you have seen it before. It only goes for a couple of minutes.
You would have to assume that as far as being a credible witness with enough experience to make a decent assessment, it doesn't get a lot Better than Gordon Cooper.
I agree, it is certainly unproven, however given the witness and the circumstances, you don't consider this evidence.
Gordon Cooper was the one man all the other astronauts relied on for a cool steady head when it came to a crisis with any orbital missions ,they literally put their lives in this mans hands many times when Cooper was a ground controller. Not the sort of guy to be messed with and certainly not one for tall tales.
Doctors used to prescribe Mercury as a treatment for all manner of ills, They did it for years.
just because you have been doing something for years is not necessarily a reference of authority.
In one my old jobs years ago I was a Postie, there was an old cleaner their called Jimmy. I was last back one day and old Jimmy was limping. I asked him what was wrong. He began to give me a spiel about his gout being back.
I listened to him and when he was finished I asked him if he had ever considered natural remedies, perhaps go see a Chinese doctor or a naturopath. His response was ironic. He said with a straight face, "I have been going to the same Doctor for 15 years and he cant fix it, what good would a naturopath do"
I just let it go and said fair enough Jimmy.
He missed the irony that although what he has been doing for all these years did not fix it, that trying something else might be worth a try.
Perhaps it is time you tried something else to find your answers?
Back to Phobos.
The density of Phobos is so low that 30% of it is thought to be voids.
It could have a base of some kind or just be really spongy.
I guess an obvious next thing might be to try and track down the so called infra red images, if they exist.
It is covered in a thick layer of regolith.
Not sure how helpful IR would be.
Didnt the guy in the video mention an Infrared video or photo? I will have to watch it again.
Nasa reveals infrared look at Mars's Phobos moon | Daily Mail Online
It just looks like a rock heated on one side.
Just watched the Video in post #1 fast forward to the 6 min mark and he refers to Infrared images but does not show them. This is what Castle was referring to earlier.
