I was bored on Netflix a couple of nights ago and saw this had been added....

I had read the book and enjoyed it a bit, and the film wasn't terrible... It had some cringe parts, but the overall story and content was pretty good. I'm a big fan of all things Nordic, and this touches base into that realm, as it takes place on the border of Sweden and Norway...

The story opens up well, and I believe it tells a pretty good story of redemption and old friendships being rekindled, but also going into the horror/thriller section.

I won't be going into that forest anytime soon . Hanging people out of trees ? It was more of a horror story than a reunion . I like Scandanavian folk tales never heard of that one before , so they were the sons of Loki, creepy looking devils . I liked it when he clobbered that witch. Good flick.
