The Voynich Manuscript is an interesting anomaly, Named after Wilfrid Voynach,

220px-Wilfrid_Michael_Voynich.jpg

Wilfrid Fucking Voynich, " I checked that is his middle name."

A Polish-Italian Book Dealer Who purchased the Book in 1912 and subsequently never disclosed it's origin, The book Is an otherworldy Codex Filled with Subjects Like Astrology, Biology, Anatomy, Mathematics, Mysticism, and even art,

250px-Voynich_Manuscript_%2832%29.jpg

Till this Day, Nothing in The Voynich manuscript has been translated into any language, The intricate flowers it depicts simply do not exist and the lexicon it's written can not be identified. Some people believe the Voynich Manuscript to be an intricate Hoax.

It Carbon dates To the Early 15th Century 1404 " That's the era of the Italian renaissance By the way" Consistently the same alphabet is used fluently throughout, even the same syntax is used, the same punctuation even, The images throughout are Bizar like something from another world,

This image shows a couple making "happy fun time" and thusly transforming into an alligator. No, You are right, That doesn't make sense, Why is it in there? It's Odd It's weird, It's Been Kept At the Beinecke Rare Book and manuscript library at yale university and has been since 1969, This Book, This Codex, Could it be from another world? Another reality? It certainly is an oddity of a thing.

You can see most of the 240 pages of the Voynich manuscript at this page in PDF format, The Voynich Manuscript : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive If you want to take a crack at it.

But you May be too Late already.

A Father-Son Team in Italy have a Suggestion That The Book Was Written In phonetic Old Turkish A lexicon that uses root words and builds from those words to change its definition, they believe they have successfully translated 30 percent of the context of the book, But It must be stressed this claim hasn't been substantiated. This is thus far just a claim Based on their knowledge of an obscure Dead Ancient language that they could, in fact, be fabricating. Honestly.

Anyway, I see a lot of Topics on AE But I had never seen anyone Tackle the Voynich Manuscript, What do you guys think? Is the Voynich Manuscript A book That fell through a crack from another dimension? Is it, Some Piece of History that some ancient visitor from another world left behind? Was this some sort of ancient hoax that some guy who couldn't read clumsily threw together to impress the ladies in the fourteen hundreds, I know I would've... Or is this book, Just a Victim of poor literacy in a time when illiteracy was becoming more important? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated guys, Cause There are very few concrete answers when it comes to the Voynich manuscript, It's still 85% paranormal anyway, The only way it could be any more mysterious is if it shot lasers that cooked pancakes for breakfast.

No Kidding. SP.

You read Binary :ohmy8: You never cease to amaze me Brother :)
:laugh8: I used a translator. That reminds me of the movie Mercury Rising where the autistic kid could see a phone number in a puzzle book. There's probably people that can read binary code. Apparently one test of intelligence is how many digits of pi someone can remember/recite. If that number is a reflection of the creator then it would imply those people has a greater connection or understanding of source.

I had to learn binary, Though I admit to using, A Translation page because to be honest, I don't know the Punctuation marks in binary. I had to know it for some career readiness test I had to take for college. It's not terribly difficult, four number sets, and a hand full of combinations are all you need to know :) Mercury Rising, I've not seen it, I think I've found tonight movie :D

Are you interested in taking more classes? How's the garage project going? This reminds me of me being on an Apple IIe in the 80's talking to a Sysop in text.

The Frame is Built, I had to get These special Rivets to nail the roofing frame together, All I know how to build is an A-frame, Nothing special. But it will pass. I've been waiting for Hagan and stone to deliver my Tin for the roof, I've been debating on whether I want to run water to it because If I do that, That's a lot of Digging, And I still havent ran any copper wire yet. Hopefully, by Haloween, I'll be as far as laying the cement. But I want the electricity wired first, I love projects like that, It's becoming an all-consuming thing, But It's a one-man job, I can make every Nail every cut every angle perfect :D The largest hold up is, since I've been more active and I've been getting more energy, A friend of mine hired me for a fencing job, So I've been working a little, It's all for the singular goal that drives me, I am 42, Can I achieve perfect shape ever again. I will find out :) I won't rest till I achieve this goal, I may get in perfect shape to immediately sit down and begin watching Netflix again. Eating rocky road, You know what, hell I promise I'll do that, But for now, The goal is to take my 42-year-old ass and get in the shape of a teenager again lol, :)

Tates Dad actually, :) Clyde, He's a hell of a guy, The man is seventy-three years old, And still out there working hard :)

Tate is my best friend, No ills to say of the Spud, But He's not able to get out there and do the Digging and cutting and hauling, He's got nerve damage in his back and no one really knows how he acquired this, but it causes him all kinds of pain :(

I don't know about that being a measure of intelligence. I actually know a savant, and the kind that has an automatic high speed calendar in their head is one of the more common. Blurt a date out and within a second he'll tell you what day of the week it was, how many days have passed since, etc. Remembers every birthday he ever heard. Freaky. He is not however, without other issues so it's more a condition than a gift.

Binary. :) Take any '80s or '90s vintage computer classes? I used to work on equipment that would communicate to me via two character LED displays of hexadecimal. What would Spock call that? One step beyond stone knives and bearskins?

@Thomas R. Morrison recently posted a link about this thing.

You got some time to kill you might like this:
Ep 151: The Voynich Manuscript Part 1 — Astonishing Legends

Several have claimed to have decoded it without success. Looks to be more about herbs and natural cures than anything paranormal. Hard to reconcile the puerile cartoonish stuff except to say that if you're getting laid regularly you probably wouldn't be drawing stuff like that. Maybe it was a real herbalist that was just frustrated or maybe he was making a comment about his girlfriend. I've had one or two that I have suspected to be cold blooded reptilians underneath the human guise.

Analysis shows that it has similarity to European languages and that the entire thing was done without any edits. Meaning, no evidence that something was written then scraped off then written over. I can't write a single post without some kind of editing error so that's impressive. The paper was fairly accurately dates at the early 15th century and (however they can tell) that the ink was added after the paper was made. The ream could've been sitting around a while. It was of a standard quality, nothing extraordinary.

It's not alone. there are other similar books. None with nooky pictures in them though.

this actually comes from an unrelated art project, that a guy did based in the voynich manuscript

That makes sense, I thought it was sketchy, The kind of bed and mattress used in that picture simply did not exist in the time period. I would have to agree. Plus the Inks used and the drawings themselves don't match the rest of the book.
