Third Eye Sight: Remote Viewing

The only thing that popped in my head was an image of a small white figurine, something hard with a bit of weight to it maybe made of ceramic/porcelain/plastic.

The colour is close to a white figurine, this is made of quartz though...Sorry for the delay reply, puppy had some accidents this morning...

I wondered about a crystal sphere but know you collect them and didn't want to make a personality based guess, even unintentionally, and the image did seem more a figurine. It wasn't distinct though, the texture/feel and light color was. I am also careful to block out all light when I do this so there was no local 'light pollution'

We'd have to do this dozens if not hundreds of times and then decide where the dividing line is between random chance and what a more than statistically likely outcome is to determine what our 'hit rate' really is and where is falls in relation. I believe that's how the early Rhine psi studies were done and that's why the SRI program was cancelled, their success rate was too spotty and did not fall far enough beyond the realm of statistical probability.

All fine and well but I don't have to justify a budget or anything else.

I think this is very much like Hitchhiker's Guide tells us human flight is like - you have to throw yourself at the ground and miss. I just tried - not very successfully - to clear out my thoughts. At any given moment we have umpteen terminate stay resident thoughts in our heads, songs, all sorts of crapola that needs to be tuned down. Not so simple to actually do. Once done I asked 'what do you want to show me' and that image came and went and the rest was just a relaxing meditation session.

That's me doing this, not something I am reading about or a story I am relaying. There is definitely something to this and of course that's subjective as hell. I suspect most if not all of us can do this to one degree or another it's a matter of how well we turn off all that TSR.

This is interesting and I'll keep going as far as anybody wants. We can try it with other people too .... it's free .......anyone?

Everyone Has Psychic Abilities: Revolutionary Science Experiments

A groundbreaking study suggests that psychic abilities may be innate to humans but are actively suppressed by the brain. Researchers in Canada, supported by the BIAL Foundation, have identified a specific brain region that acts as a “psi inhibitor,” potentially preventing telepathic, clairvoyant, and psychokinetic abilities from physically manifesting.

Dr. Morris Freedman of Baycrest Health Sciences led the study, stating, “Humans may have innate psi abilities that are suppressed by this frontal lobe filter.” The research, published in the scientific journal Cortex, is titled Enhanced Mind-Matter Interactions Following rTMS-Induced Frontal Lobe Inhibition. The research scientists believe the study confirms there is a filter in the brain actively inhibiting your Psi energy.

Psi abilities refer to various psychic phenomena, including:

Telepathy: Mind-to-mind communication
Clairvoyance: Perceiving distant or future events
Precognition: Knowing events before they happen
Psychokinesis: Influencing objects with the mind
After Death Communication (AFD): communications with the dead, such as dreams, feeling the presence of the deceased, and having conversations with the deceased.

To explore these abilities, Freedman and his team—Malcolm Binns, Jed Meltzer, Rohila Hashimi, and Robert Chen—used repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). This non-invasive technique temporarily alters brain activity by sending magnetic pulses to specific regions. By inhibiting activity in the left medial middle frontal region, they observed significant psi-related effects, suggesting this area may suppress latent psychic abilities. In experiments, participants with these temporary brain alterations influenced a Random Event Generator (REG) by shifting outcomes on a computer screen that randomly selected between 0s and 1s.

“These findings are potentially transformative for the way we view interactions between the brain and seemingly random events,” said Dr. Freedman.

The belief in psychic abilities has been prevalent for centuries. Historical figures such as Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce have been credited with foreseeing future events.

Nostradamus (1503–1566), a French apothecary and reputed seer, published numerous prophecies that some claim predicted major world events, including the Great Fire of London and the rise of Adolf Hitler.
Edgar Cayce (1877–1945), an American psychic, gained fame for his detailed predictions and alleged ability to diagnose illnesses while in a trance.

The study in Cortex suggests that, rather than being rare gifts, such abilities may be natural but actively inhibited by the brain. If psychic abilities exist, why have they not become dominant evolutionary traits? The study speculates that evolution may have suppressed these abilities due to their impracticality in daily survival. However, many people report minor psychic experiences, such as sensing when someone is about to call before they do.

The first two groups showed no change in psi abilities. However, the third group—those who received rTMS to the left medial middle frontal region—exhibited a notable increase in psi effects. “This study confirmed our hypothesis,” Freedman stated in a report from the BIAL Foundation. “Individuals with neurological or reversible rTMS-induced frontal lesions may represent a useful group for detection and replication of this phenomenon.”

To investigate further, researchers recruited 108 healthy participants and divided them into three groups. Each group underwent different rTMS treatments:

Right medial middle frontal region stimulation
Placebo (no actual change in brain activity)
Left medial middle frontal region stimulation

The left medial middle frontal region is known for its role in executive functioning, including:

Decision-making
Planning
Goal-oriented behavior
Impulse control

This area helps focus attention and suppress irrelevant stimuli. Now, researchers suggest it may also be responsible for filtering out psychic abilities, preventing them from emerging in everyday life. If further studies confirm these findings, they could revolutionize our understanding of human consciousness. This research may open new doors in neuroscience, psychology, and even quantum physics, bridging the gap between science and phenomena long dismissed as pseudoscience. This research marks a significant step toward understanding the hidden capabilities of the human mind, bringing psychic abilities into the realm of mainstream scientific inquiry.

Secret CIA program claimed to have found alien civilization on dark side of the moon: 'They look like us'

As the US prepares to send astronauts back to the moon, a CIA file has resurfaced that claims to have found life there more than 25 years ago. In the 1970s and 80s, the CIA conducted experiments with individuals who claimed they could perceive information about distant objects, events, or people, a process known as 'remote viewing.'

The experience of remote viewer Ingo Swann was first revealed in 1998 when he explained how his psychic episode took him to the dark side of the moon, a region that always faces away from Earth and out of sight from human eyes. That's where the remote reviewer made a shocking discovery: towers, buildings, and human-like aliens working at a secret complex on the moon's surface.

Disturbingly, Swann said government officials knew the aliens had a base there, and these humanoids could actually sense his presence as he viewed them with his mind from 238,000 miles away. He claimed that a race of aliens that 'looked exactly like us' erected several giant towers on the moon. One was the size of the United Nations building in New York. Swann, who died in 2013, made the shocking claims in his book 'Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy' released in 1998.

Despite Swann’s detailed claims, there has never been any tangible proof of alien bases or life on the moon discovered by lunar missions led by the US, Russia, China, Japan, and India. The famed member of Project Stargate, the CIA's remote viewing operation created in the 1970s, said that this amazing incident was not part of his regular work with the top secret program. Swann wrote how he received a phone call in February 1975 from intelligence agents in Washington DC, asking for his help with another secret project.

A meeting was set up between Swann and a mysterious government operative known as Mr Axelrod. Swann had a hood placed over his head and was instructed not to speak or ask any questions as he was taken by helicopter to an underground base. Once there, Mr Axelrod gave the remote viewer a very simple task: 'We want you to go to the Moon for us, and describe what you see.' However, Swann was also told that he could not reveal anything he saw in that vision for 'at least 10 years.'

When the CIA operative-turned-author was finally able to share his psychic vision, the description he gave was jaw-dropping. 'I found towers, machinery, lights of different colors, strange-looking buildings,' Swann wrote in the 1998 tell-all. 'I found bridges whose function I couldn't figure out. There were a lot of domes of various sizes,' he continued. Swann noted that the aliens appeared to be all male and did not wear any clothing. They were digging holes into the moon's craters during some kind of mining or earth-moving operation.

One thing he did not expect to see was two of the aliens spotting his consciousness viewing the secret moon base. 'Two of them pointed in my direction,' Swann explained. 'How could they do that… unless… they have some kind of high psychic perceptions, too?' It was at that moment Mr Axelrod ended the remote viewing session he recruited Swann for. However, Swann revealed that the news of an alien takeover on the moon did not phase Axelrod or other intelligence officials.

The remote viewer then questioned his recruiters about why NASA or the US military haven't gone back to the moon since 1972. His questions stumbled upon the unnerving truth: 'They somehow have told you to stay away. That's why you are resorting to psychic perceptions. They are not friendly, are they?' Swann asked Axelrod. The operative reportedly told him that he was 'approximately correct… but not completely so.'

Swann's remote viewing revelations now bring a serious question to the Trump Administration's renewed focus on sending astronauts to space instead of robots: what will we find on the moon? On May 1, the Trump Administration slashed $6 billion that would have paid for research, operations on the International Space Station, and future missions, including the Mars Sample Return (MSR) mission. At the same time, the cuts will allow NASA to allocate over $1 billion to manned space missions, ensuring 'that America's human space exploration efforts remain unparalleled, innovative, and efficient.' The White House proposal emphasizes the importance of NASA beating China back to the moon and putting the first humans on Mars, with the latter being the overarching goal of Elon Musk's spaceflight company, SpaceX.

Here on Earth, congress continues to hold public hearings regarding the potential presence of extraterrestrial life in space, on Earth, and potentially on the moon.

Wouldn't the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, or any number of others noted towers and such ? Or do we also have to assume an international conspiracy.

Thing is there are otherwise credible people that speak highly of Swann - for reasons I will never quite get.

Ark of the Covenant's location revealed in declassified CIA psychic experiment files

Declassified CIA documents alleged that the long-shrouded mystery of the elusive Ark of the Covenant- the chest containing the Ten Commandments- was solved in 1988 via a psychic experiment. According to the Bible, the Ark of the Covenant was created a year after the mass exodus of Israelites from Egypt, according to the pattern God gave Moses. Moses is then said to have placed the Ten Commandments inside.

The CIA conducted experiments in the 1980s with individuals who claimed they were psychics with extrasensory perception and knowledge about the past and the future. While the physical evidence of the famed Ark is yet to be discovered, the documents that were unveiled in 2000 claimed that the Ark was discovered in 1988.

In one of the declassified reports, titled Project Sun Streak, Remote Viewer No. 032 was asked to locate a target using coordinates and they described the Ark of the Covenant to be hidden in the Middle East.

Secret CIA files claim Ark of the Covenant has been found

"The target is a container. This container has another container inside of it. The target is fashioned of wood, gold, and silver.... and it is decorated with [a six-winged angel]," the remote viewer allegedly said, the document states.

They then said that the coin-shaped object is "somewhere in the Middle East" and claimed to have seen people conversing in Arabic.

The project became widely known after appearing on the Ninjas are Butterflies podcast, where show host Josh Hopper admitted that he initially thought the project was "fake" until he double-checked on the official CIA.gov website. The remote viewer was allegedly unaware that the CIA agents were looking for the Ark when they were assigned the experiment.

"What he wrote was bone-chilling," Hopper said as the psychic went on to describe their surroundings, including intricate details about the people, their culture, and the location before shedding light on the "hidden target" that was allegedly underground.

Secret CIA files claim Ark of the Covenant has been found

"The purpose of the target is to bring people together. It has something to do with ceremony, memory, homage, and the resurrection. There is an aspect of spirituality, information, lessons and historical knowledge far beyond what we now know," the remote viewer said, before adding, "The target is protected by entities and can only be opened (now) by those who are authorized to do so - this container will not/cannot be opened until the time is deemed correct."

The report also features sketches and scribbles the remote viewer allegedly made. The Ark is a sacred, gold-covered wooden chest that was made around 1445 BC.

It contains the Ten Commandments, aka a list of ethical and religious directives God gave Moses, including advising one against stealing, killing, and adultery, and encouraging them to honor their parents. According to some historians, the Ark was initially kept inside the Holy of Holies in the ancient Temple of Jerusalem. It later disappeared during the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem in 586 BC, the Daily Mail reported.

During this time, allegedly, the High Priest of the Israelites was only allowed to see it on the holiest day of Yom Kippur, according to Judaism. Other legends suggest that it was taken to Ethiopia and has now found a home in a local church. While the world has long-awaited the reveal of the Ark's location, the US government has seemingly known about it all along.

Project Sun Streak was one of the projects undertaken by the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency, where they rounded up people "alleged to have paranormal capabilities" which could aid them in decoding "distant events." This project involved using "remote viewer" psychics who can gather intelligence based on given coordinates as they project their consciousness into far-away locations beyond their mortal bodies. These psychics were used for locating kidnapped hostages and tracing the paths of fugitives.

I really hate media. They just keep censoring information in order to shape public perceptions. I thought that Uri Geller was a fraud, based on a single video, but that video have now been placed in broader context, and Geller doesn't look so fraudulent now . . .

That Stargate program and the CIA gets trotted out a little too conveniently, sort of like how people just utter 'quantum physics' as if they're waving a magic wand at some mystery.

This man's credentials don't necessarily give him any more insight into precognition than you or I but in general I agree that some people really do have insight most of us don't. Maybe it's more accurate to suggest that they can tap into a natural ability most of us can't, IDK. Things like that exist in liminal spaces and are virtually impossible to pin down. Possibly by design.

OK, I had a positive experience with fortune telling women. Her chance of predicting a future event in the first try, not in my life but in a life of my friend, without knowing anything about me except my body language and appearance, was 1 in 1,000,000,000 if not worse.

Funny enough, she couldn't predict anything about myself. But I'm very rational, left side of brain, guy. But she completely lit up when she mentioned my friend, who is very intuitive right brain guy. That's at least my take on it.

I’ve sat with a number of mediums and got a good look at the schtick, they all have a routine of some sort. Some were just cold reading obvious frauds.

Two though, were exceptional - both references from the Windbridge Research Center. I sent an email to Dr.John B Alexander and to Dr.Jim Tucker at the University of Virginia's Director of the Division of Perceptual Studies (since retired) asking about mediums, I felt they both had sufficient experience and gravitas. To my surprise they both responded and independently recommended Windbridge, and they also told me to tread cautiously because of all the frauds.

Windbridge just has a referral page of mediums that have participated in their testing. These are phone readings. One scared the snot out of me, she doubled the time I paid for without asking and got more and more specific to the point I wondered if she was actually seeing the room I was sitting in, she was on a serious roll. She certainly seemed to have access to a great deal of personal detail that even something like Lexis Nexis doesn't have. I was just answering yes or no.

Before my friend died we created a secret message and put it in an envelope that I sealed and mailed to myself, it's been locked away in a safe only I have access to. No one knows what it is and it's something obscure that won't be guessed. That medium came awfully close to nailing it, not a bullseye but the 10-ring for sure. All that from a stranger on the phone. She was the only one to do so and it was so close it rattled me. How could she possibly know? Even if she was just reading ME and not the Akashic Record that's remarkable. A good bit of what she was saying I'd never heard before but it all fit together perfectly I am not sure that is was all me. Freaky.

The second medium was very good if slightly cranky. Not the best session but she did blurt out a couple of very specific things that had my wife an I scratching our head. One was a Yiddish term my deceased mother in law used to use on me. Go cold read that.

I think to sit with these people you need to have a goal in mind or a particular question to lend focus otherwise they just seem to thrash around.

That's when metaphorically I just backed slowly out of the room....my curiosity has been satisfied. It's real. Like ufology it's steeped in pure nonsense but there are bits and pieces that are entirely valid.
